    If I were to (attempt at least) to contact pewdiepie about a possible song for an outro, would it be a business contact since I am actually writing the song and offering him the rights to it or would it just be fan mail? If you guys like the current outro don't get mad because I probably wont even be able to reach him as he no doubt gets tons of mail each day but just in case, how would I contact him?

    tl;dr: I want to know if I should use facebook or his business contract form to contact him about an outro song.

  • the chance of you accomplishing that is the same as trying to reach BMG for the rights to use a rhianna song for financial gain.

    if you dont own a company with substantial capital that business form youre talking about is worthless.

    but screw it, spam the hell out of his tumblr or something, post pictures of dead cats on his fb, maybe you'll get lucky enough for him to say "fuck off"

    EDIT: btw youre in an extremely saturated market for music. you need to find your own niche, and asking for a handout is not going to happen
    you saying "give him the rights" means absolute shit because you want him to post YOUR name with it. he's not going to say he did it if all he can do is play rocksmith

  • yeah i use profanity and come off as a dick, but i want all musicians to enjoy having an audience. thats why we do what we do, so we can express ourselves, as with all forms of art.

    you need to network with other musicians. give support to those like yourself, and theyll give it right back to you.

    and get a job. theres no such thing as a starving artist

    Yeah, I actually don't need a job yet since I'm only 16, but yeah. I was getting money with my band but now for some reason they don't let us play at bars anymore because I am a minor (I don't see why it matters if I'm not drinking but whatever) so now I do nothing. And you didn't come off as a dick, don't worry about that.

    most of the children on this site don't understand the concept of tough love. they just think im trying to insult them. i was hoping you got my point because i have a soft spot for fellow musicians

    bars take the chance of not only losing their business license, but also losing their insurance for letting a minor in. for most states it has to be a restaurant that serves alcohol for you to be let in (IE, they need to have sitdown tables and a food menu). if its strictly a bar/21+ club you cant get in.
