I never ask, nor really want, anything for my birthday. My family and I don't do gifts anymore. Anything I want, I'll save to buy for myself. We don't have the money to spend on it, nor is that the reason to even have one. Celebrating your birthday should be being thankful you've survived another year, and to many more to come your way.
Some are not lucky to see their next one. -
I was once gifted a 5 pound gummy bear. I couldn't ask for a better present and would gladly receive another one on another birthday :DYou are now one day closer to eating your next plate of nachos.
