    • Saints Row IV and State of Decay Refused classification (Aus)

I was wondering what you guys have heard about these classifications or refusal of classifications. Also if any other countries have this happening to them.

      State of Decay Reasons

After reading the guidelines(Guidelines for restricted further down) it is understandable that they do not play by the guidelines, in saying that I think the issue are the guidelines.

I guess this applies more to the Aussie gamers here but I am interested to hear your input and what can be done about the issue. All I have done is create a rant video expressing my annoyance, through these have been done to death. RANT video from me on this topic

Even if you are not Aussie feel free to have some input on the issue
      I wove you...

    • Pretty much banning it due to sexual violence and drug use. The Board rated the game RC, or Refused Classification, meaning it cannot be sold in Australia. The game's content was found too adult-oriented. According CVG, Deep Silver, the game's publisher, said that Volition, its developer, is currently working on removing some of the content that proved offensive to the Classification Board. Which has happened in the pass were games need to be altered to Australian regulations.
    • This is something that goes on with a lot of things. Maybe not big name games releasing, but a lot of places have "not for sale here" or "only for sell in this country". Usually the reasons are different than the content of a game, but it still happens. This simply means you cannot buy the game at a retail store / from publishers directly in your region. Find another way to purchase the game.

Well too bad for all austrailians.

I agree with you both and normally I would just import the game. The only problem in this case is State of Decay is an xbox live title, so I'm not sure I can import or get it like I usually do.

Just strange in this day and age with an R18+ that the guidelines still say a game with real names for drugs is not allowed at all.

    • What's the Rated 18+ for? Australia already has 18+ rating recently but I don't get why State of Decay was not rated 18+ but was banned...
