  • A new mic, some help bros?

hi bros, i want to buy a new mic for my commentaries, i would appreciate if you will help me.
I already decided that I will buy Samson C01U, looks good and promising, and other then that, I want to know where could i get it the best way (new one not used) not too costly (i will pay the full price but on what you will recommend me), I wonderd when you buy that mic, i can't put it on the table, so i need to have also a stand for it and also that little thing that you put in front of the mic so it won't get wet when you scream and spit ( does the stand and that little shield spit come with the mic?)
The Most important infomation is first where should i buy it Amazon Ebay or somewhere els? and the second thing is if the can ship (send) it to israel and if so, how much time does it take.

    Thanks bros

  • You can buy the mic on amazon with the pop filter ( if that's what you mean) it's a filter that reduces environment sound and mainly focus on your voice. And you can buy a stand. The stand is maybe about 20 dollars and the pop filter 10-20 idk about the microphone.

Amazone is a great site tho.

  • Amazon doesn't send to Israel I'm afraid, but I believe there's enough audio stores in Israel. Price is probably gonna be more though (usually electronic stuff in Israel is more expensive).

I got the Rode Podcaster btw, it's a great mic. But I would also recommend the Blue Yeti (a good mic too, but it's a condenser mic). Do get a pop filter though, and if your like me and get the Rode Podcaster keep in mind you need to purchase a "studio arm" or mount in addition to the mic since nothing's included. (so the yeti is easier for that part, however the podcaster delivers better sound quality, and alot less noise).
