      So I'm planning to make an ib horror fangame on rpg maker vx ace, I'm currently on the trial version but planning to buy the actual program. There's huge differences though, the only thing that's similar to Ib is that it's set in Guertena's world, girl goes to art gallery and you know what happens, and Guertena will appear as a non playable character... like the bad guy. Things like the layout, maps, paintings, etc will be totally different, characters included. The original characters, Ib, Garry, and Marry won't appear in the game ever )x poor them.

      That being said, does Kouri even allow fangames? I heard he asked someone on youtube to take down their fangame of Ib, but that person used the same characters, setting, etc and was basically just a sequel. The only other fangame I've seen is Ibtalia, but that's currently in the "trial" stages and it's a crossover game between Ib and Hetalia. I'm not making any money off of my game, I'm just making it and releasing it for free online so that other people can play it :)
      I'd hate for it to be taken down or even rejected after I've worked on it and basically written down the entire story, drew characters, made different endings, everything.
      Think Kouri will allow it? )x any help please or any tips for rpg maker?! or any way to contact him or her? Thanks lots!

      I'm not sure if Kouri would allow it, but from what I've read, I didn't see anything that disallow you from doing that.
      But then again, it's better to be sure than sorry, right? Right. So here's Kouri's website , this is the direct link to the contact mail.

      It's said that your mail would be answered in a slow paced manner because of all the mails they get, so just be patient : )
      Other than that, it's better to respond them in Japanese, since the reply might take longer than the actual response time if it's in English.

      saying that you are not making benefit or money of this game but still your using other people ideas

      its not kouri's fault you made the story 1st before confirming its ok to make it

      why make a fan game?
      make a new game.. a unique one
      that will be a better solution.
