    • Am I boring or just not liked?

      Hey everyone.
I gotta ask, am I boring or something?
The reason why I ask is I never get any feedback on anything I do.
I post my YouTube on here, I do updates when I start a new game and nothing.
I have 300+ subs on my channel yet hardly any views on my channel.
      Am I doing something wrong?

    • Well lets face it. You are not gonna get like 10000 views in a month with 300 subs. You need to make your audience first and keep them there.
That takes time of course. I had last month 48 subs, now I got 73 and as I saw in analytics 150 more video views. Which only means one thing. People are watching my videos more and by time I will hopefully get an audience

(I need a lot of improvement aswell, hardware mostly)

Fair enough. Just a matter of time after all. And improvement, of course, IF necessary.

    • As long as you can look at your stats every month or week & see they're going up you've got nothing to worry about, that's what I do, I've only been going for a couple of months on YouTube & yes sometimes It can seem a bit slow & you wish for more views and Subs but I check my stats and they're showing signs of growth. I've only got 51 Subs at the moment but considering I didn't expect to have over 30 by my second month. With me I enjoy making the content so regardless to who watches I don't care as I really do enjoy the process of making the video right down to the editing and making of the Thumbnail... Getting a Sub is just an added Bonus which gives me a moral boost :D

    • Ugh , this topic is quite silly to be honest.

You are neither of the ones stated , it is hard to be 'special' in a crowd who all wants to be 'special'. All I could say is that you lack luck on your side and most likely patience. You won't go from zero to hero in a short time and those who do are either extremely lucky or extraordinairy well with their content or even both. All you can do is just keep making more videos and network with other people to get somewhat more noticed. Making more videos is like making more opportunities for people to find you on the web/youtube. Growth comes with time.

EDIT : You might have done something wrong , do you even tag your videos properly? If not , do so , it helps a lot on the long run.

    • Hey man, I watched few of your videos and I've got to say you're better than the most people I see around here (when it comes to a commentator) it's not your fault really, the main reason is that there are just too many LPlayers nowadays and if you're wishing to succeed in youtube and like have a career out of it I dont think LPlaying is the best way to do it. Unless as someone previously said you need to be extremely lucky, although patience is the key when it comes to a LPlayer, you need to find your audience and after that they'll start sharing your stuff and the everything will start to roll by itself. So my suggestion would be try to advertise yourself (not only here) and see how it goes :) Best luck bro :)
    • From looking at your channel I would say that you are playing certain games that are already oversaturated by other LPers. You need to remember that games like Zelda are EXTREMELY popular and there have been LPs of it for years now that already have enough views to plop them on the first page of search results.

Play newer games, especially ones that just come out if you want to get a little more luck in the search result department. Another thing to do is list your favourite games and search for them on Youtube. Make note of which don't have that many high view counts for the top videos and start LP those instead.

Problem here is that you are making things more about work than fun. Youtube popularity comes with patience and ALOT of hard work.

It helps to not have a job so you can play newest games ASAP. lol
    • As long as you're having fun and you know that someone out there is enjoying the videos your making, just keep pushing. With every video you record, edit and post... you will gain experience and content will improve. In time, we should find our audiences.
As suggested, newer games can help tip the scales in your favor. Horror, FPS, and Minecraft seems to be the most common and popular videos. Of course, if you don't enjoy these types of games.... do not play them. The most important thing is playing a game that you're having fun with.
