How do you deal with troll haters?

    Hello Hello.

    Has anyone have experience with troll haters?

    Right now, I have an individual that is disliking all of my recent videos with alternate accounts and some of my older videos. I can tell it is one individual because the dislikes go up at same time and it ends up with the same total dislikes. My last 10 videos has 7 dislikes each and the individual has been doing it for a week. My retention rate took a hit too.

    Pewdiepie has haters too, but he has hundreds of thousands of likes to balance out the few dozen haters. For me, it is 4 likes vs 7-11 dislikes. Slightly annoying since I am a smaller channel.

    I dont think removing all the subscriptions I've obtained for the last 1 week will solve the problem since the person can just type in my name and find it. Not quite sure how does someone find 5-10 minutes of each day doing this lol.

    All the dislikes actually made my let's play of Chalk on page 1 of search results.

    Anyways. Has anyone experience something like what I am experiencing and how did you deal with it?

  • well, my approach isn't the best xD I usually talk back to them, but sarcastically.
    EX:
    "Lol, this video sucks"
    "Reminds me alot of your mom last night ;D"

    I get trolls sometimes but not always. Generally they are telling me to shut up and such because well I talk throughout my entire video apart from cutscenes. Why? Because I have something to say. A lot of people on Youtube don't realise the difference between recording a game and recording a game and wanting to talk about it. I am sure most of them watch Vlogs for a living and don't know any different.

    The best thing to do is just respond in a joking manner. Aslong as they know you aren't affected by their comment but still willing to put one forward they generally leave you alone. Picture like if you were in a crowd and there were one or two bullies hidden away that sometimes threw verbal abuse at you. If you turn around and talk back in a friendly, not retaliating manner that generally think "Oh well that mission failed..."

    EXAMPLE!

    Mean person: SHUT THE F**K UP! PLEASE STOP MAKING VIDEOS AND DIE!

    You: But...but then who would make all these awesome videos? :(

    It is obviously friendly sarcasm and haters don't generally spend more than 3 seconds on a video anyway. Plus other viewers will see that you are a kind personality through those replies too.

  • I've had my share of troll haters, but not on youtube, since I don't have a youtube channel. I encountered them quite a lot though on the forums of games I've played before, just 'cause.

    Anyways, just answer sarcastically or at least provide a good comeback that isn't low, don't make them feel as if they've succeeded in getting on your nerves.

    ok lets start with this, lets say im a hater,when i wake up in the morning, the first thing im going to do before eating something or brusing my teeth will be post a hate comment about pewdiepie new videos and dislike them, now you tell me what kind of life is this that i wake up in the morning and first thing im going to hate someone before i do anything
    The answer is ignore, just dislike the comment, noboday will see it, noboday will care about them, and when they will be ignored, they will stop what they are doing, the only reason why hater still exists is because that people respond to their comments with also hatered, and when you ignore and dislike the comment, no body knows and no body cares, simple as that
