    Hey there.
I just had a quick question.
So, on my YouTube Channel I have "Matched Third Party" content on about 5 of my videos.
    I acknowledge them and
everything and go on my way.
My account is still in good standing for everything(everything is green)
Would those impact my ability to join a gaming network in the future?
I was just browsing around and decided to give RPM a look just to see if I was eligible and they said I wasn't due to either:
    • Copyright strikes
    • Strikes
    • Low viewership
I have 200 subs and around 6k views fyi and thought that was the reason why.

  • If you did it through SocialBlade then yeah they accept anyone uploading videos. I'm currently with Maker/ SocialBlade but I try to cover up as much of SocialBlade from my channel as possible. They only want you for your money and they won't promote you or even work with you unless you promote SocialBlade more...which kind of contradicts the reason you wanted to have your own channel promoted. You will have better chance having your gaming channel popped into the spotlight with a proper gaming network.

Why do I use SocialBlade? Because they don't bother me and I don't bother them. I get an alright revenue but my main target is TGS, so yeah I am going to have to work hard for that wish to come true.

    *EDIT*

Also a lot of people seem to be leaving Machinima and TGN lately. From what I hear in the underground Machinima are beginning to try and control your channel the more popular it gets, which is not a good idea. Prime examples are Bro Team and animators like Oney. Both said the exact same thing and it seems others are running too.

TGN seems to be a little odd with its cpm. From what I have heard about them is that they don't have a fixed rate like other networks, so sometimes you could be earning as little as 20 cents per 1000 views, which obviously isn't good. On the other hand though TGN are a dedicated gaming network even though their community forums are pretty dead unlike Yeoush.

Yeah socialblade only promotes you if you are a huge arsekisser to be honest.

Shi check out my EDIT and tell me if the TGN thing is true because I know you are actually in TGN. You don't have to go into specifics obviously but there seems to be a reason for worry when joining TGN.

Yes , it fluctuates. to be more specific, I had a CPM of $0.40 last month. Thats due to the fact my channel is in comatose state to be honest. I'm going to start the unpartnering procedure soon due to the fact TGN is now an ego network where noone gets a fair chance, main channels for example get abused by the 'top tier' people on it and I never see someone new. Its not that I'm jealous that I'm not spotlighted, its due to the fact that TGN doesn't take care for its people and helps them out and such by giving it to people who actually need it. And yes , the community forums are dead. I was there to keep it alive for some period but then I'd quit doing so as it was hopeless and people were only signing up to be like "Yo guys , I'm a TGN partner (or want to be) and here is my channel." If George was still with TGN, then it would be a way better place, but hey , he got backstabbed , so I'm hauling my ass over to a new network even containing Ex-TGN employees.

I hear that. I just submitted my channel on TGS and it was accepted. Just need to sign the contract once the SocialBlade one ends.

This made me lol hard to be honest

I know! I had been reading about it for a few weeks and everyone said that the requirements were high. I saw the Join Network thing on their site and thought "Why the heck not?" You probably know how surprised I was to see what it said :p
