This is the topic for the movies released in your country which touched you the most.

Also, being french I want to delete this stereotype of "surrenders monkey" that foreigner people are saying to us, with this incredible movie called "A Very Long Engagement" or in french "un long dimanche de fiancailles".

This movie reflect very well the absurdity and the monstruous war during 1914-1918, I'm living near the city Verdun when all the most terrible war occured in this city with an enormous amount of dead (french and german), maybe you heard about it in history.

This movie is very beautiful, very emotional. The story is talking aout a lover Mathilde and Manech who want to get engaged but the war called Manech to fight, and most terrible, Manech is condemned to remain in the no man's land for refusing to fight. With this bloody battle, Mathilde do everything she can to find out Manech alive.

An advice, You have to watch this movie, and you'll automatically stop using those bloody stereotype who annoys me all the time.
