Hello all! I need some help with my mic levels, right now I am using a Samson Meteor mic. It's great, the sound quality is top notch, yet it picks up every sound in existence. It even picks up cars passing by my window. I live with my parents at the moment, and out of respect I don't want to damage their walls with insulation. Is there any way I can dampen the gain without damaging anything? Or any way I can dampen it using something along with the mic? I've already tried to change the gain levels to no avail, so I need some sort of physical solution.
