    • I'm... Actually feeling like this too, right now.....
I just got some problems at school, and home too....
I think... It's hard to deal with that... When you don't know what to do...
I'm trying to listen to songs... That could.... "Fit" in my situation. So i can have something to identify myself with, in my current mood...
I find it a good way of therapy... I don't know about you, though..
    • Lol I never feel depressed,

I only have the complete URGE TO PURGE THIS WORLD OF HUMANS AND KILL EVERYONE

other then that im fine :3

I really don't like anyone... yea I have my friends and stuff and im nice to people, but meh, everyone is just so pathetic.

:/ If I could I'd lock everyone up inside a building and light it on fire so i could hear there screams before they die....

      if only....

Regardless, to help with your depression, just do things beside the computer, or something that help cheer you up like reading
or maybe go play some sports?
    • I feel like this too :(
Couple days ago ended up crying my self to sleep because I feel so depressed but like what happens to you after a couple hours or a day when I wake up I'm back to normal. Its because I keep thinking about the past and how I did silly things well I used to think they were but they weren't it was just my ADHD acting up again and that caused me to get bullied this made me feel depressed and how I just wished none of that stuff never happened to me and that people just forgot about it, forgot about me and I could just disappear this cause me to become really depressed a couple of days ago and cry myself to sleep.

To help me deal with these things I wrote a song about it so I could get all of my feelings out. Its called waiting in the dark.

So I wouldn't know how to help you that much but mabye you could write a song I know that sounds kinda stupid though :3
      blah ... :P

    • Well I was feeling down last week and tried to record videos but I felt like giving up. I'm alright now which is good and my main reasons of feeling down was that I left my home. It has been two years since I left and I haven't even come back.
Well I can't wait when I get on the plane home in a few months :)

The only thing I do is to listen to songs and maybe do some art!
Haha I would talk to my friends about it but I'm not that kind of person who tells people about personal things.
Crap this is my second time to edit this reply xD
Anyways there's a thread about depression. Here's the link
      Dealing with depression?
    • The best thing you could do if you dont know why you are' depressed' is try to live with it. it may sound weird , but it helped me quite a lot as I feel under the weather due to some real life circumstances. the reason why i put depressed in quotation marks is due to the fact people sometimes confuse being depressed with feeling shit. if you are really depressed due to rl circumstances then its best to go see a doctor.

    • Do you have an Ipod or an IPhone e.t.c? When I was depressed a while back, I did a quick search on the app store for "relaxing" and I found a few awesome apps that literally helped me to stay relaxed and I even slept most of the time using the apps..

If you don't have any "I" items, then you might be able to find something the same on a computer, although I haven't tried that personally..

Hope you feel better soon :)
A smile a day, keeps sadness away!

Come and have a good ol' cuppa with me... You know you want to ...
    • If you are concerned you actually have depression, see a doctor. I would do this if you consistantly get these low feelings from time to time. They can help you assess what it is, and what to do about it.

When I had depression, I was recommended Mood gym:

      moodgym.anu.edu.au/welcome

It's a CBT therapy you can use from home. CBT is meant to help people with depression "unravel" their thoughts, and put things in better perspective.
But mostly, see a doctor, see what they recommend.

    • Hobbies.
Trust me they worked most of the times. Fishing, Hunting, Model crafting, gaming, pimping, killing, cooking, etc. As long as you enjoyes it, you could forget about everything bad for a brief moment.

Oh, and i heard that chocolate could slightly reduce depression.

If you're angry, don't break anybody's heart, they only have one..... Break their bones, they have 206 of them

    • You know, I went through a depression for a while. What helped me is thinking of things that I look forward to. Like video games. I would really miss seeing the upcoming video games, or movies too.

Exercise also helps too. It kicks natural chemicals into your body and give a natural high. It's also a natural destressor.

I find that just talking to someone helps. They don't need to give criticism, just sit there and listen, and empathize.

Thinking and understanding why you're depressed will also help too. Try to isolate in your mind why you are depressed, and think about controlling it. If you can understand it, you can recognize it when it crops up and take mental steps to keeping it at bay.

      Hope that helps!

    • We all feel depressed at times...Many factors: The weather, our environment, people around us...

I've been feeling the same from time to time, the only thing that partially makes it go away is do things I love. How about trying doing stuff you enjoy doing? Go for a walk, relax your mind, invite a friend over, have a good laugh, hang out with buddies, listen to some music to lift your spirit, cook your favorite dish, open up to someone you trust and care for helps alot too.

Don't keep your feelings inside and avoid listening to sad music or people who try to discourage you.
You'll feel better, before you know it! :)
    • I felt depressed on tuesday. My best way to get rid of that is go to a game that allows swearing, for example transformice (for most of the part, yes) go into a empty room, for exampl blahxblach49935 or some random placing of words, and just rant however you want to or say what you want to. It helps me it might help you

    • For lilwisher93:

...you know, i still agree with part of what Shikieiki said.
Try to find a way of living with this, instead of killing it. Try not to look at this situation as just a bad moment.. Seek into it, for a meaning..
Take the chance and go deep in your feelings, try to understand the feeling, not to kill it. If you're suffering with that, try to do things that could help you in expressing yourself, put it out in a reflective way.. Like drawing, listening and/or writing music, playing an instrument, doing some paintings, and even some poems. ^^
Just as i said before, you could use them as therapy. Try this, and see if it could help you to understand your own feelings in a deeper way, so you could live in harmony with them, find more about yourself, in a way that it could not make you suffer, but make you feel delighted and relieved instead. :)
      Hope i could've helped you, dear. ^^

    • I've noticed everyone says they feel depressed these days, and I think it's because people have literally forgotten there is an emotion called 'sadness' which comes and goes to every single person at least once in the day. Yes it sucks, but stick it out. If you have the knowledge that after a few hours the feeling will pass, there is no reason fretting about it. Feeling bad about your sadness with only increase the time you feel this emotion. Also, remember it's completely normal to feel sadness if things aren't going your way at the time, but move on. No use crying over spilt milk.
    • We can all get sad sometimes too.. Depression is lasting for weeks and months, even years.
People can be sad for a day, or a couple hours during the day, but most likely it is not depression. I'm sure if it was depression you were dealing with, you all would have seen signs of it.
And then there's an anxiety disorder. Neverless, I hope you all feel better.
