I friend gave me a tip, he had the same problem and all he did was re-extract, RTPMaker.Exe (click 2x).

If you need help, StriHiryu, one of your bros, has played this with a Xbox controller. Maybe you can ask him how to set it up so it works. :3

Played for about 30 minutes and I'm loving it so far! This game is amazing
