Need help with my webcam in sony vegas :(

So im using the built in webcam on my computer (crappy but saving up for something better) and im recording the webcam footage through windows movie maker. Everything goes smooth until i import it into sony vegas and it doesn't fit the screen

so i can't pan and crop the video to the corner of my gameplay because well.. it pretty much disappears into these invisible bars on each side. The only way i can fix this is by rendering the actual webcam footage and then re importing it into vegas

its really drawn out and time consuming.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? You'd be a life saver if you could help me outt. Thanks

What's your PC specs anyway? Would you please take a picture since I don't get what you mean by you cannot crap or pan it.

That is very easy to solve. Just drag it into the corner and then start playing with wide-stretching the footage. When you dragged it to your beloved corner , press ctrl and hold left mouse button while holding the arrow on the edge of the frame and start playing with it.

try to make the video of the webcam smaller so it can fit in the screen, also is it something to do with the weight of the video or the resolution?

If you don't want your video to get lost behind those black boarders, simply change the aspect ratio of the file.
That's what I do, since my camera records in 4:3, and the other video files are in 16:9.

Thanks soooooo much man, that fixed it. It stretches the video out though i little bit. you know anyway to fix that?

I'm not really sure of that, since it changes aspect ratio it automaticly stretches the image.
