Alright, I've thought about the project. If some people don't like an idea it isn't good. Some of you said, it would be too much like Slenderman (actually I feared that). I will create a whole story for the game (a bit of fantasy will be in it but not too much) and I will release an epilogue plot so you can better feel what the game will be like (No raping, okay?). Stay tuned, I'll try to release the text as early as possible. ;)

      Hey Bros,
some of you might still know about my old Horror Project called "The Broject", ya? Unfortunately it's paused, because I can't create good 3D models. So after some time I thought, I could recycle the old scripts and use them in a new Project. The only thing I need, is a skilled 3D Artist, so if you are one of them, you're welcome!

Plot (not really a story based thing):
      - you are a little girl that wants to play outside, but you mom warned you to play at the train tracks, so you go into the woods
      - a cute little rabbit shows up and you hurry after it, but after a while you can't find it anymore
      - some roots are sticking from up the ground and you fall
      - but when you get up, you discover an abandoned house - half rotten and damaged
      - but in a window is a cute teddy with a red ribbon and you - a little girl - want to get it!
      - so you sneak into the house, it's dark, the sunrays are shining through the holes in the damaged roof but you can see your trophy
      - a few metres before it, the floor isn't stable enough to hold you and you fall down in the basement
      - you get unconscious and everything gets black
      - a couple hours later you wake up (remember, you're a little girl!) and a horrible pain is torturing you and you cry while you are trying to escape from the basement
      - but you're too anemic to climb up a ladder and open the trapdoor
      - another blackout happens and a couple minutes later you get back up, the pain got less
      - you finally managed it to get out of the basement, one look back gave you a shock - the teddy is gone!
      - Someone must be in the woods! But you don't have any lights, you're weak and you don't know the way back home
      - after some time searching for hope you see a shape with an axe not far from you
      - you run but the shape gets closer and closer!
      - It throws the axe away and begins sprinting! Faster and faster!
      - and finally, the shape reaches you...
      - It is a man, he wants to rape you, an innocent girl of eight years. His strong hands seize your tiny arms and seem to break them... The situation seems to be hopeless.. no escape..
      - suddenly the man is distracted by a loud crack coming from the woods and you can manage it to escape him - somehow
      - you run, run, run as fast as possible with your small legs and you finally see a hole under a tree - you got in.
      - the man can't reach you but you seem to be safe now
      - but the safe hole is cold and you would probably freeze to death. The only way to survive is to get to a warm place.
      - The only problem is:

      He is waiting for you.

      You can't escape.

      His or your life.

      Reasons why this isn't Slender:
      - He doesn't follow you all the time, you have to be stealthy
      - You have to watch out for traps, otherwise you will get his attention
      - You actually have to kill/trap him
      - You can hide in several locations
      - You aren't only in the woods also a farm and high grass are good hiding spots
      - Tactical thinking is required (not only running)

So, basicly this is my idea. I know, it will be pretty similar to slender but I think the aspect that you play a weak little girl is pretty interesting. I mean, nobody has ever made a game of this serious topic and it's pretty important to show that you can do something in such a situation. Just let me hear your thoughts about it. :)
To the ones who say: "Uhh, there are so many people who post ideas for games in this forum but there's never gonna be such a game.". THIS IS SERIOUS. If you don't support the people who want to make their game, they wont ever finish it. I know how to use a game engine (okay, I'm not a pro, but I'm pretty good) and if someone helps me in graphics design, this game can be a serious project. Just support me. :)

      Btw. don't steal it.

    • That seems like a pretty good idea, and one that is the same, but different at the same time! This, if done right, would be an amazing game to promote rape and other serious issues that children and females are at risk of (males are not usually targeted, but may still be.)

Perhaps you could make the animation of the girl a little weak (hurt arms) and perhaps she would stumble of limp every now and again.. This might make the game quite realistic, and more involving for the player. If you want the eerie vibe, then perhaps having the man call to you or whisper close by you something, making the player think that the man is close by in a certain direction, disorientating the player.

Throughout your story plot, I also seemed to get a slight hint of well known stories though, which was awesome!

"a cute little rabbit shows up and you hurry after it, but after a while you can't find it anymore
some roots are sticking from up the ground and you fall" - Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland

"suddenly the man is distracted by a loud crack coming from the woods and you can manage it to escape him" - Not sure why, but this part reminded me of the Little Red Riding Hood. The whole "wolf trying to eat you and get chased off by hunter" part :)

Seems awesome! I wish you the best of luck with your game, and I hope to be playing it soon ;)
A smile a day, keeps sadness away!

Come and have a good ol' cuppa with me... You know you want to ...
    • Alright, we got another pessimist. The mad man is core of the game otherwise it wouldn't be a horror game. You have to feel with the innocent girl. And this project will be more different than Slender. Slender is just "Uhh, there's a creepy man in a suit run for it! Oh, now he is in front of me, run the other direction! Oh a note! Oh Slender, run! Another Note! Again Slender!" And so on. This game would be like "Okay, the man is now in its house. If I move slowly, he wont see me. Alright, head up to the shed, maybe there's something useful. Good, a wire ad a hook. Let's see, I could put this wire between two trees to make a trap. Alright got that, let's take a look behind that house. *jingle* damn, that's an audio trap. I have to be quiet now. *listens* Oh no, I hear footsteps within the house, where can I hide now? The shed? The hole under the tree? Over there's a field with high grass! Run! *runs* Okay, maybe I have luck now. *man takes a look into shed*. Okay, good, he's heading back to the house now. Let's see if I can get something useful on the farm..." and so on. See the difference?
    • There's one thing people don't understand. I really don't want to be a pessimist, but I used to be like you. Don't worry, everyone does this.
When you first start making games, you think everyone's going to notice stuff. Like "oh, a tree, better hide under it". But when people play games, especially horror games, they just don't think logically. Usually the simple games get more publicity. You can be simple and complicated at the same time, take amnesia for example. That was an Indie game! When your game is to complicated and you point stuff out, then it will be to obvious. Its very hard to find a perfect center point in which you can be safe to say that its not to easy to notice, or not to hard. If you're making a horror game, you have to have something unique. A lot of games, both horror and non horror, have hiding and tactics in them. Far cry 3, amnesia, Battlefield 2-3, Skyrim, CZ, and many more. And a lot of games have running from monsters, I don't think i need to list them, because they are everywhere lol

Don't take this as an insult. Critisism is good. If you're getting critics, then you're doing something right. Think of this as a suggestion.
