Steam?

I like Steam since you can play games on any computer, you don't have to carry the CDs/DVDs around.
On the negative side you cannot log-in into Steam when there's no connection (if you want to play SP).

personally I like steam because I can talk to my friends while playing a game without it lagging out my computer, like Skype does when I'm playing Minecraft, WoW, Amnesia, or some other game.

Plus I like the fact that I can search stuff up while in game, so no need to have a browser open

Though, Steam isn't for everyone, hell, even I hated it at first from the bottom of my heart, but I learned to love it.
