    • Chat about Vocaloids !!!

What's your story about Vocaloids ? , How do you find them ? , Why do you like them ? Don't be shy , tell me with out problems ;)
      An exemple :
Long ago , in a distanced land , there was a boy ( Zer0 ) who had a cousin , this cousin show him a photo about a vocaloid ( that he saw on a video about DJ S3RL ) . The first time , the boy don't show any interest , but then , the cousin saw that exist about that vocaloid a game ( he saw Hatsune Miku on the video about the game and he played Project Diva games ) .
The cousin tried the game through an emulator and he like it, then show the boy 2 links about the game with Vocaloid Hatsune Miku , one was about 'World is Mine' song and the other was 'Romeo x Cindrella' song.
Time past and the boy get increasingly interested about Hatsune Miku , and finale , after hearing and viweing all kind of songs from Hatsune Miku and the other vocaloids from the game he started to like everything about them even he don't understand the lyrics of the respectiv songs ( but then he saw some subtitrations and everyyhing was ok ) , he didn't care , he just enjoyed the time with the vocaloids.
Now , Zer0 is searching for new songs that maybe will become hes favorite songs , but only if he will like them.

    • You want to know how I managed to get to know Vocaloid and the actual icons that depcit Vocaloid today? Well, the story isn't that long I guess.

You know, I had some friends back then and one of them was into Vocaloid. It's his fault I ever heard the name "Vocaloid" but i didn't knew what that really was. He just showed me a Miku cover of Black Rock Shooter. But I liked it. Not only because of the japanese language, music was also good. But I quickly forgot about this tbh. It took me another 3 years or so until I finally managed to listen to it. I began researching of what it's all about, what Vocaloid is and what it all had to do with Miku and quickly discovered more charcters and so on and so forth.
Since then Miku is one of my favourite Vocaloids although Akuno-P's use of Rin and Len made them a favourite for me, too. A friend of mine were to show me the Evillious Chronicles, a biiiiiig storyline made out of songs and Vocaloid characters singing them and playing key roles in the story and story complexes. I really recommend every Vocaloid fan to read about it. The Evillious Chronicles by Akuno-P. Do it. It's great.

But I have to admit I'm not as strong into Vocaloid as I am into Touhou meaning I listen to more Touhou music (and play the actual games) than I listen to Vocaloid stuff. But that doesn't mean I don't like Vocaloid. I'm happy it was invented. :>
    • I remember first hearing Miku when the leek spin meme was just getting popular.

I downloaded an mp3 that was just called "Vocaloid - Ievan Polkka". I thought is was just like a band or something XD I listed to it a lot without knowing it was Miku at all.
Then I decided to look up "Vocaloid" expecting to find out more about the band and it led me to find out about the software along with Rin & Len and eventually Luka.
I have all the Project Diva games except Mirai and that's how I found out about a lot of their songs... Darn region lock :(

When Miku append was released I decided to buy it because I wanted to try out the software. It's so much fun~ I eventually bought Rin & Len Act 2 along with their appends because I had a big discount. I decided to buy an Engloid last year and got Oliver. He's amazing! Then I got Kaito V3 for free :3
I'm considering getting SeeU, but I'm waiting to see if she's getting updated.

      Here are my favorite songs:
Ai Kotoba, Dead End, DreamDream, Hello World, Hope, Irony, Melt, My Time, Nekomimi Switch, Nyanyanyanyanya, Odds & Ends, One-Sixth, Popipo, Real-Life Stupid Game, Requiem for the Phantasma, Rolling Girl, Saihate, Sekiranun Graffiti, Sing&Smile, Sound, SPiCa, Stargazer, Triple Baka, True to my Heart, World is Mine, Abstract Nonsense, Antichlorobenzene, Candy Rain, Daughter of Evil, End of Solitude, I Can Take off My Panties!, Innocence, Kokoro, Little Doll, Melancholic, Meltdown, Rin Rin Signal, Trick and Treat, Double Lariat, Hot Cocoa, Paradichlorobenzene, Servant of Evil, To Beyond a Duodecillion, Happy Synthesizer, No Logic, Palette, and Toeto

That's all I can think of right now, but there are plenty more. I recommend the story of evil (Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil, Regret Message) to anyone who hasn't seen it yet :p
    • Oh god, why am i doing this?

Vocaloids. Some are awesome (I think we all know that would be Hatsune), some are terrible (Kato, damn I hate his voice), and some are just... There (Megurine). Ok, hers the rap.

4 months ago I was looking up old pewdiepie videos and I accidentally stumbled upon the 600k sub special video with some bros and megu megu fire endless night as the music. Now I remember loving J-Pop before, but I didn't really search into artists and what not on who made these awesome songs. Anyways I went to the suggestions box and I saw a familiar face from when I was 5 years younger on my sisters iPad, but I didn't know who it was. So I clicked on it and it showed a miku version (miku miku fire endless night) of the song. I quickly fell in love with the music (not hatsune, that would be weird... Right?). I decided to get back into J-Pop and searched all that was related to Miku, since that's all I knew at the time. Found out about her and the other vocaloids and decided to start downloading more Vocaloid music onto my iPad (which I am on right now) and now I have 184 Hatsune songs and 227 Vocaloid songs in total. I know listen to the music as I would to any other genre: I enjoy it!

Hatsune Miku is now my favorite singer of all time (real or not), its my 2nd favorite genre (2nd to hard rock), SuperCell is my third favorite band and CosMo-Bousou is my second favorite artist (A7X is my favorite), and my FAVORITE SONG is now The Intense Singing of Hatsune Miku!

I really want the games that relate to vocaloids (GameStop doesn't sell it where i live) for I am AWESOME at rhythm games. If you want proof, play me in Guitar Hero or Rock Band!

I find it weird though that a person (me) that is athletic, has a lot of friends, Pro Gamer, American, and no one else around him likes the music LOVES VOCALOIDS! (With some acceptions of course). It's only been 4 months and so far it has changed my life ALOT!

One more thing: Zer0/From/Romania, why do you always bring up VOCALOID in the threads? Surprised nothing TOUHOU has came out of your typing yet.
       XX-STRAYHAWK-XX
    • Well , Well , Well ........

      Finally , XxstrayhawkxX thanks for the question :) . Probably you ( maybe everyone) guess that I won't tell the answer , because it's secret . Nah , Zer0 it's not a secret anymore ^^ .

Anyways , why I'm talking just about Vocaloids is that certainly they are "the NEW things" in my life that I show more interest then other things  + I'm not that kind off ,rich, gamer, kid that plays and watch games all day all night to talk about new games an others gamer stuff , no ;( .
I seen that are some Bros her that I can talk about anime and similar stuff so I start with this threads  because about playing games my computer can do shit , and I can't bey another yet :( .
So I can't talk much about playing games , because I can't play good games ( BorderLands 2 etc.) ;( , so the current things that I can talk about are: Vocaloids , About Drawings , Black Rock Shooter stuff, AudioSurf , Minecraft , and real life stuff :| .
Is this answer clear for you enough now , XxstrayhawkxX :?:

    • I was watching random anime memes like the leek spinning one. I came across a video titled ,"PoPiPo". I googled the character Hatsune Miku.. END OF STORY BECAUSE GOOGLE TELLS EVERYTHING.

Now, I love most of the Vocaloids some of them are meh (like the red haired one that I forgot her name apparently because I don't listen to her) I love the new ones though like GUMI, IA, SEEU and Lapis. I still love Kagamine Rin the most with Megurine Luka. Miku Hatsune is cool too but I don't hear songs sung by her these days.

Credits goes to : Oneiros1987, watch her in dA or look at her awesome works.
    • Oops, I meant brown hair. I actually like CUL but if not programmed correctly her voice will sound horribly. I was referring to Kaai Yuki.

    • Ill make a long story as short as I can.

I found out about the Vocaloids through an ex girlfriend of mine, like she came out of nowhere showed up in a Black Rock Shooter cosplay and I'm just standing there, like "Okay, you look sexy and all but what is that?" She told me who she was. But I was still confused, so she went to my comp and showed me, "Clingy Boy Sticking for 15 years" by Yuuma, and I turned so emotional in front of her and everything, it's amazing. So after that, I started to explore into the field of Vocaloids, Discovered Miku, then Len and Rin, then Lily, then more and more. :D So, yeah. I love them because they give me a huge amount of joy and happiness, it's finally music I can understand without understanding xD
    • I found Vocaloids when I was randomly searching YouTube and it popped up on my suggestions bar...
I found one of there songs a bit catchy and I started getting into it...the end...
The only characters though that I know of is Miku Hatsune, Len and Rin Kagamine, and Kaito but don't know his last name
      .
      .
      .
Look out a random link to a song....

    • not a big fan, but Youtube is the source i find most cool stuffs and people.
so yah, it's Youtube where i first found vocaloid. i can't remember how or which song i first heard but it was JBF and Magnet that i was addicted to and pulled me into vocaloid world.
looking back, some vocaloids back there weren't as good as today's, so seeing their development is kinda like seeing a child grow up.
