Illness/Diseases You Have?

    • I don't think this is really a disease or type of illness, maybe a disorder?

I've got PCOS Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. I cannot get pregnant, no matter how hard I try and it's very difficult when you want children so bad. It can mentally break you down and make you a jealous and bitter person, when you see all these moms walking around with adorable children holding their hands.

I do know that Sugar is very bad for women with PCOS because I am insulin resistant. The sugar I eat gets turned into Insulin, which makes my ovulation stop D: My cycles are none existant without birth control or Metformin which is a drug taken by men and women with Diabetes I believe, but it helps with ovulation too. I've not taken it in a while though.

When I started (Two years ago) I got pregnant within the first three months of taking it, but I lost my pregnancy very early into it. It was hard to deal with.

I have Polycystic Ovaries too (but at the moment luckily I don't have the syndrom) but I got hormonogical examinations lately and I have some hormones above standards... I and my doctor told me that at 90% those hormones will get higher...

Also, after being bullied at Primary School, I got depression and I almost got bulimic too... Luckily I just gained weight that I still try to lose...
