    • Making videos?

Well, I can't say I'm very experienced, although I made a video a while ago that got a fair amount of publicity... I thought of making a new account with a better name, and start making videos. Now, I'm not aiming to be a commentator like Pewds. I'm not social enough for that. Although I was thinking AMV (animated videos) or lyric videos. Problem is: how.

      • I've used Photo Story 3 before, although my issue with it is that it doesn't fulfill everything I want. It's free though, and I'd love to use next to no money on this project. I've gotten good quality videos from it before, although I'd love to hear suggestions on other, better video editting programmes. Preferably free.

      • I'm genuinly interested in animating things. Pewdie related, or something like that. So-called AMVs. Problem is, I've got a really old photoshop version that's tricky to animate with. Is there other animating programmes that works better? It'd be great if this one was free too.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Everything from what kind of videos I ought to make to various programmes you've used and which you think are good/bad. A quick tutorial on how to use them would be awesome as well, although if that's impossible I could ask my cousin. He's got a thinge for technology and should get a good idea of the programmes immediatly. :>

    • I don't entirely understand your question, but I'll try to give you some advice :>

Judging by your youtube you already know how to put videos together. Which it a good start. I don't really get how Photo Story is any different from any other video making software i.e. Movie Maker, but it doesn't really matter. As long as the software exports a video format you're good :)
Lyric videos are a piece of cake~

Now what do you mean by animating things?
Do you mean like playing music over clips from pewds playing games and such? If so then that's not any different from how you would do it with pictures in a slideshow.
Or if you mean animation as in cartoons then I could suggest a few programs for you to look at :>

I'll wait for you to reply on what you mean by animating before I get into detail about them though.
    • Sorry for making it unclear, I've had a tough week and I'm obviously a bit overworked.

Photo Story has worked so far (with the exception that I've had troubles getting audio, but I've had that fixed), although I was basically wondering if there's any other programs that allows you to make slideshows/add sound and stuff like that. I'd like to vary and get used to several programs.

For animating, I'm thinking like a cartoon, yes. Basically, I'll draw each frame and put it together to make a smooth walk/motion of sorts. All I'm missing is a proper program to do the animating, for my photoshop isn't really qualified for these tasks... I've heard that Flash works, although I'm depending on reviews from people who've done these things before to tell me what their experiences with these programs are. Whether it's for the good or bad side.

Glad to know someone's taking the time to reply though! ;)

    • Making frame by frame in photoshop then animating that way seems way too tedious~

I can personally recommend flash because I've had it for a while now and can say that it's easy to learn and decently versatile!
I've never heard of pencil, but it does look interesting.
I'd say give it a shot before trying flash because flash will probably take more time to get use to. Go with what Nugeddi said :>

Or if you want to do 3D animation you could try Miku Miku Dance (MMD for short).

You can google "Pewdiepie mmd models" and probably find some.
    • I'll be checking out Pencil, for sure! I've got to make my tablet work first though. It looks simple, which is good considering I'm not that good with technology. Although if I get the hang of Pencil, I'll make sure to try Flash as well. I've heard it's a really great animating program! I'll be following your advice, and then I'll consider what I want to do afterwards.

I'm unsure about the MMD, since it's not really my style... Although it seems interesting so I'll probably check it out anyway. :>

Thanks a lot for your advice! You've got no idea how much I appreciate this! :)
