Sony Vegas Problems.. ughhh please help

  • Sony Vegas Problems.. ughhh please help

    So this is gonna be a long question but bare with me.

    I tried recording video from my total media extreme 2 (software that comes with the hauppage hd pvr) to record me so i could do picture and picture in a subscribers video i was making. video turned out fine but as soon as i imported it into vegas it was totally sped up and retarded and i couldnt fix it. i em not trying to record video in sony vegas capture video and it keeps crashing. Its problem after problem pretty much it just get video of me playing a game or just in general it seems like. My question is what is the best software that will work flawlessly in sony vegas without being sped up? i wanna get the logitech HD pro webcam C920 but idk if it comes with software that would be friendly with vegas? Because if i pay for that and i try and import it into vegas and its sped up i'll cry... can anyone help? or maybe atleast break down why vegas seems to hate outside video sources and what i can do about it.

    People on this forum seem to always help me out so im hoping you guys can come through on this because i really wanna do picture and picture!

  • How i record gameplay with facecam

    I record with either DXtory or fraps it depends on the game i am playing. But with every webcam comes seperate software solely for your webcam. I open up that particular program and start recording my face or whatever i want while i am playing and recording the game. Then i use Sony vegas to combine the facecam video with the gameplay video and thats basically how i do it. Hope that helps !
