Sylvia's face broke into a grin as she found a tub of ice cream (Cookies and cream flavor.), digging into it immediately.
Because of this, her voice was muffled as she answered Zarak's questions.

"Mrf... It's cuz y'can't see my soul. A handy little bit of personal magic makes my soul appear human in nature. Makes me weaker while in use, though. But then again, you'd have noticed my power from miles away without it. And no, I can cook for myself, not that I'll need to."
"And you want to know why being half-human makes a difference? It's simple... I. DON'T. LIKE. HUMANS. Their history of violence and murder would turn any race's relationship to them sour. "

Eh. True, I guess.

Well. I have my own reason to hate humans.
-shows her the scar on my neck from the collar-
This. I had to live with that collar for a year, as a slave.
I had to watch them kill my mother.
I watched them kill my wife and unborn child.
-I start shaking with remembered rage-
But, there are good humans, too.
And, I hope you will not judge me for my human half.

-Nyr sighs as he quietly wanders the wood, humming gently as the snow softly crunches under foot. He knows not where he's headed, but a distant smoke stack calls to his attention. He stretches his tired arms as he slowly makes his way to the manor.

-I hear footsteps crunching the snow-
Ah. It seems we have a new guest.
-I go to the door to greet the newcomer-

-Nyr squints his eyes and notices a figure at the entrance

-he waves a hand as he approaches the building

I hope I'm not being a burden, but I have been traveling for
quite some time and could truly use the rest
-he stops in front of the man and slowly bows

Sylvia mimed ripping off an imaginary head to demonstrate her point. Finnian started looking more uncomfortable than he already was.

Then, the nine-tail's attention shot straight to the other Kitsune, and she jumped him as he was inching away, bringing him into a bone-crushing hug.
"Finny-boy! Never seen you since forever! D'aww, you look so cute with five tails!"
"Bones... Crushing into a fine powder... Help..."

Not all of us stay faithful to that oath, though. Love does not satisfy lust.
-I sit back and watch Sylvia hug Finnian-
Who am I to interrupt a touching reunion?
-I walk into the kitchen and make myself a stack of waffles, pancakes, bacon, biscuits and gravy-
-I wolf down the giant meal inside of 5 minutes-
Aaaaaah. Haven't eaten that well in a while.
So. Sylvia, you know Finnian?

Zarak's question had gone unanswered, due to Finnian passing out from lack of oxygen.
"Oops... I think I broke Finny..."

Shrugging, Sylvia deposited him into a chair at the table.
"Oh, but you're wondering how I know this clown, don'tcha? I read minds y'know, don't be surprised."

"Well... He won't remember me... Last I saw, he was just a wee little toddler. Only time I saw him, too, Elly thought my influence would be far too much, thought I'd make him just as awesome as yours truly. Ha, but he's already taken after my better traits, so too late for that!"
She stopped short, and started looking around.

"Huh, I don't see little Cy anywhere, though... I know I felt two kitsune souls around here, can still feel them now, but where is he? Ah well, he'll be back, I suppose."

-I relate the story of what happened to Finnian and Cyrus to Sylvia-

Sylvia shook her head, her mood dampered slightly.

Lost in her ramblings, she hadn't been paying attention until the half-warlock stumbled into her.

"Oh my!"
*CRASH!*

...And brought them both tumbling to the floor.
"...Get off me, I'm not in the mood for any shenanigans."

-I get up and brush myself off-
My damned leg.
My last one got turned to dust, so I had to make a new one.
-I think over what just happened-
(She's so soft. And she is pretty cute. Are all Kitsune girls like that?)
-mentally sighs-

-leaves the mansion, going into the woods-

Sylvia had gotten up, too, thoroughly annoyed. "Excuses, excuses... Just don't do it again. Irresistible as we Kitsunes are, we don't like being jumped."
She'd been studying Zarak's face as he was thinking, and jumped to a conclusion. "Whatever you're thinking, stop it. Or I'll hit you."

The Nine-Tail sighed in relief once the half-warlock had gone. "Idiot! If he wasn't a friend of Finn, I'd have sent him through a wall!"

Speaking of Finn... What now? I found him like I said I would, but... No home, no mother, no nothing... Broken, too, totally not my fault, though.

...I'll just have to take over for Elly, then! Yes, it's perfect! I will make him into a nine-tail, just as awesome as I am! What could possibly go wrong?!

"Oh?"
Her train of thought was interrupted by a fairly attractive elf girl.
"Name's Sylvia, Syl, or Sylly. But names are unimportant, I have better things to do!"

Sylvia, showing a surprising amount of strength, had slung Finnian over her shoulder and rushed outside, bashing the door open with little regard for damage once she reached it.
"First order of business, training! Yes, definitely, Finny can't become a nine-tail without getting stronger!"

-I find a secluded spot in the woods, not too far from the mansion-
This should be good.
-I balance on my good leg and draw out both my swords, keeping them reversed like tonfas-
-I condense the air in front of me into a small, condensed sphere-
Hyaa!
-I leap into the air and bring one sword down on the sphere, cutting it before pushing off and rebounding, landing squarely on my good leg-
Not bad.
-the voice from last night speaks again-
(Your soul is incomplete. We can't have that, now can we?)
-I suddenly feel a violent pain surge through my body, leaving me writhing on the ground and screaming out. The pain feels similar to how one would imagine every cell in their body bursting at once-
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
-the pain has no source, it just courses throughout the entirety of my being-
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
-at this point, I begin to feel contradictions in my body. My skull being burned until frozen. My spine being crushed while exploding. All of my internal organs being crushed until they expand out of my body-
-at this point, I can't even scream, my mouth left open in a silent cry for help.
All I can do is lie on the ground, twitching-

OOC: the Shard of Silthos within Zarak just severed the connection to the part of his soul in Aqua, then forced Zarak's soul to regenerate itself.
