      Game Progression: We are 85% complete with the game. Due to feedback from a previous review by Amerk, the original demo has been removed. since the original game demo, almost everything has changed.

      Story:
      Life is peaceful in Sommini Village, there is no crime, or anger, or hate. In fact there is not much of anything.Every resident of Sommini Village finds themselves lulled peacefully into the abyss of death. They simply sit around and whittle away their remaining time.
      Akal awakens trapped in this sleepy village, with the curse placed upon him. Can you find his way to freedom. and escape his Spirit Timer?




      Character Bios:
      Akal

      Akal awakens to find himself in a small dark cave. Upon further searching he discovers himself in the silent village of Sommini. Uncertain and frightened at what is about to befall him. He fights to discover the truth about Sommini


      The Saviour

      A dark character who states that the only way Akal can escape the curse befallen on him is to accept "The Choice". No matter where Akal goes, she is always watching. Is she a demon? Or is she truely a Saviour....time will tell all.

    • We've got around 90% of the maps completed, the eventing for the project is about 70% complete for the demo itself, but we've got about 40% of the eventing left for the entire game itself.

    • I present the first teaser trailer of Spirit Timer. We're now looking at a May 15th Release :D As long as everything goes to plan. Progress is going at a relatively fast rate we've updates quite a few of the maps, the entire game has the ability to loop on itself. Everywhere leads back to the one place. Sommini Village.     • Updates...again

      More updates for you! I've rewritten the intro thread, to give you even more information on the project, I've added credits, more screenshots (the most up to date) and also some information on the characters. Cleaned up the BBCODE as for some reason BBCODE always hates me -_-

      Here's a short little pictogram I've designed to show the progress:

      We're now aiming for a FULL release as I mentioned before, however we are just waiting on our artist to complete our CG's for the ending. We've got so much work done, so your support and critique helps us alot :) so thanks for all the kind comments,

    • Our beautiful artist has finished the first ending CG Shots, and also we've now got Akal's and The Saviours character art.
      We've also upgraded the engine to VX Ace, with us now working in VX Ace we've been able to do more with the game.

      One of the many CGI shots that have been created for Spirit Timer :) Akal's here...looking VERY pleased for himself, Why? You'll have to play the game to find out.


      As you progress through the game you will find objects which are recorded in Akal's diary, at any point in the game you can press D to open up your diary, and read what Akal has found, some are journal entries from a mysterious friend. Some are descriptions of objects that Akal has found in his journey through Sommini Village.


      This is one of the latest updates that are exciting us most of all :P As you progress throughout the game and your timer decreases you life force will slowly decrease. As it decreases cracks begin to appear on the screens. You begin to see less and less. It gets harder to see the puzzles, and harder to work out where to go next.

      with almost all of the graphical resources, we'll be speeding through trying to get the game as polished as possible. We'll be making a call for Beta Testers shortly. So if you are interested let me know! :)

      We're not dead, yet.
      We've had a huge number of updates and a lot of things to update everyone on!
      Graphical Update

      This first update is a complete revamp of the mapping for Spirit Timer, we felt that although the maps looked amazing as is, we wanted to bring the darker side of our maps out more, make them more "grittier". if that's the word for it. but anywho...we'll just let the maps speak for themselves:


      I'll be adding more to the screenshots, shorty, so keep your eyes open for that!
      Music Update
      I've begun work on the official Soundtrack for Spirit Timer, originally we were using some beautiful Royalty Free music from Kevin MacLeod, however it was decided that although the music that we chose was beautiful, we wanted the feeling of the world of Sommini to be referenced fully in the music. So for the end of this blog update I welcome you to listen to just a small sample of the OST
      We've been working on this game for so long now and we've got so many exciting things to come. I'm gonna do my best to keep you all update on this site, as I know we've got a few fans here :) and I will be contact those interested for a beta demo/promotions soon! We've had a few changes so please accept my apologies if it feels like i'm ignoring you!
