Want to buy a new Desktop!/ Rate my old Laptop Specs

Hey there guy's! I NEED YOUR HELP!

So Basically! I need to make a good desktop Rig for gaming DERP! But also for recording!

So it needs to be able to play things at a solid 60 fps, and record at a minimum of 30 fps using fraps and as well record voice and skype calls.

Lets just give a est and say my price range is 1.5k

Wow that's pretty nice for a laptop. It sure isn't the best thing in the world, but couldn't you easily record most modern games at 30 fps with that?

Honestly, you should take a look at a website that will build a laptop or a desktop for you based on your budget and all of that. You can hand-pick everything that you want in your PC and have it professionally put together.

Tell me your max budget and the store that u ll buy it from.If u need money to get better pc first sell ur laptop.
For example i5+7850 2gb,ddr5,256bit will be enough for 1080p too.With good frame rates.At high-ultra settings.You can see benchmarks in youtube,anandtech,tom's hardware.

dude whatever you do please DO NOT touch AMD processors, i know they sell the "eight cores" crap really well but they are cheap for a reason, get something like an i7-3820 which is what i have. its heaps enough and i can run Crysis 3 60fps while recording and rendering youtube videos in the background. This slight change means you'll have to look at another motherboard or get the same one but 2011 socket compatible. Apart from this your computer looks like an epic build, you'll have heaps of fun putting that together

Your first statement is utter bullshit my first. Come at me bro but all of the reviews you were reading are biased. Yes, the AMD FX BULLDOZER is a total garbage but the PileDriver which they released last yr is actually equal and a tad stronger than intel CPU.

They consume more power but they can overclock more. I'm not being a fanboy since I, myself, am using an intel cpu. Just telling you that don't be a bias.

I was only interesting in the amd cause of the 4.2 ghz

The AMD FX Piledriver is a good cpu actually. It's tempting but it costs more power.:D Good for heavy multitasking because of its true 8 core. But when it comes to core to core performance, Intel wins.

The cpu and motherboard is not compatible.

Get the i7-3770K bro. That's an old i7.

Here bro, I updated my build for an i7-3770k. I don't recommend getting a liquid cooling system if you don't know what you are doing so let's stick with air cooling.
