    In my honest opinion, I've never had a girlfriend in 5 years. I'd give it that I might buckle a bit when girls come closer, no idea why. I know for a fact that I'm straight, but I have no idea how to handle them.

  • Speaking as a girl, i have no idea what the hell is up with other girls! They really confuse me, I go to an all girls school where they all date like 5 boys a month. I dont get why some chicks think a guy is 'too nice'. Sure if they follow you around and text you all the time it would be annoying, but if a guy treats you kindly and makes you feel happy about yourself, why 'friendzone' him.
    Personally, if a boy was a douchebag to me I would ditch him, but if there was a boy who was nice to me, I was happy around and he made me feel good about myself I'd give him a chance.
    To be honest though, girls really confuse me. I have no idea what other girls do for fun and I have only met one other girl who has similar interests to me.

    Well, I like playing video games mainly -something which everyone at my school has no idea about. The only game they know exists is COD, and their opinion is 'Everyone who plays xbox is a neeeeerrrd'-. I like drawing and writing (like fantasy stories n stuff) and I've always wanted to play D&D, something which most people I know wouldnt be caught dead playing XD ! In a couple of years I might go to a mixed school so I guess life will be easier though.

  • We like it when you tell us that you like/love us because sometimes we are just scared to tell you that we like you. As a girl i love it when guys ask me out on a date even as a friend or just hanging out and it can lead to something more sometimes.

    Flirt a bit, show that you are interested, but DON'T PUSH IT
    There is nothing more that pisses me off as a guy when a girl I'm not interested in hangs on me and pulls me around.
    Try and do effort when talking to him and make him enjoy the conversation. Talk about things hes comfortable with

    He's a guy, he will catch on that you like him...

  • I don't suppose you can help but get friendzoned by someone like that. People have their own ways of seeing things, and if a girl sees that way, whether it be bad or good, then she'll continue to see that way. Point is that you can't really control the friendzone. I say that through experience, at least; it's not fun being friendzoned. -__-
    I guess a big factor for that would be when people actually /are/ too clingy. I don't mind clinginess, but people do say they like the 'Chase' rather than when they actually do have their chance. Clinginess is considered as trying too hard to lots of people. To me, it's just another way of showing someone how much you'd like to be around them.
    Now for a solution, there really is none. I guess you need to go with the flow. Even if you are friendzoned by anyone, you should just remain by their side. Afterward they'll know /you/ were there for them right by their side. They'll appreciate it in the end. May feel a little guilty for not taking the chance when they had it, but ah well. The rest depends on your own pride and confidence.
    Oh, adding onto that, you don't want to be too nice to the point where anyone would just react some type of way that would mostly hurt you. You'd have to get to know someone before acting upon them like that anyway, since you should never just assume. ^^ When a girl is determined enough to have a relationship or anything with you, then you'll know. She'd give up the friendzone for a chance to be with you and such. In this case, she wasn't as dedicated, I guess. I didn't really look over the first post twice, so I apologize if I'm pretty much off with what I said.
