What is your favourite animes?

Ok so im not sure if this is a thread that has been made yet but i'm basically really curious to what animes you bros may watch, if you watch any that is

Also maybe give a reason to why you love this particular anime so much

Okay ill start off then

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When the cicadas cry)
One of my favourite because of its excellent mindfuckery i almost didn't know what was going on until the very end of the season, The opening theme is extremely beautiful and well made

also i love tragic stories like these.
It's very gory and therefore not suitable for everyone but if you want a mindfuck of an anime then this is for you

it is about 23 episodes i think for the first season atleast.

i have alot more but for now ill let you come with an example

Nice out of those you have seen ive seen Dragonball (of course) Naruto and sekirei (though only 1 season)

By far the most awesome anime i have seen :

Highschool of the Dead (also has best intro song imo)

Elfen Lied (saddest anime i have seen and possibly one with the best story)

TobyPL eeehm try Elfen Lied that's a very good one and while its not that "scary" imo its still very gory/tragic so its awesome!!

also FlameX Death note and Elfen lied is also one of my personal faves

i actually went out and bought a misa's death note replica once not sure where it is now but meeh

I've only actually watched 2, they were Code Geass and Hetalia. I'm sure most people know what Code Geass is about, so I won't explain it. Hetalia is a comedy that originated from a webcomic about all the world's countries as teenagers with their own stereotypes set during WW2. It's basically the easiest way to learn about historic events, since every episode is filled with them. Like Seven Years' Itch War, Austro-Prussian War, the American Revolution, etc.

yeah i did watch some of hetalia but didnt get half of the jokes so it was kinda hard for me too stay interested (inb4 stupid peanut is stupid)

I just love hellsing so much

This is what makes Hellsing so epic, the humor , the gore , the story.

And i love what a troll schrödinger is xD

and ofcourse my favorite parody of it , definatly worth a watch

Oh man I've watched so many and I always forget the names, although a few already mentioned in the thread I really enjoyed:

Clannad
Full Metal Alchemist

Dragonball
Death Note

Enjoyed the first arc of Bleach, after that I got bored of all the fillers and I couldn't get back into it.

I've been meaning to watch Elfen Lied for so damn long and I've never gotten around to it, I better watch it at some point.

Yeah , it gets boring after the first 50 episodes after they saved Rukia or so.

meeh i didnt like Lucky start tha much maybe Slice of life animes just arent really my thing although i did like that tv-show ending with that crazy pink haired host in the end they were mostly hillarious
