I keep trying and trying but still nothing but sometimes different resolutions makes it stay on for longer ..

To get around this just un-check "Show intro sequence" Works fine from there

Anybody else think the dude behind this should start up a kickstarter to crowdsource the funding for the next stage of development? I think with an alpha build as promising and interesting as this one is, he should have no problem raising the money.

Do you bros have any tactics for what to do when you run into SCP-173? I try to keep on going until I run into it, then I run away until it follows me and eventually snaps my neck. Is there a way to make him go away?

Make sure your sprint & blink meter is full. Then sprint backwards away from him. And don't look away from him. That should work.

Well, when you can make it through a door you're almost save. Make sure you don't stop, keep going. SCP-173 can open doors.

Alright, i'll try that some more. I ran back one room but he kept following so I just closed my eyes and waited for the crack of death.

even though i have seen all of these survival tactics and what-not-to do's i still cant bring myself to play this

i give this a Scary rating of 9/10

So it seems at the moment that:
You don't go to SCP-173 in the intro you are fucked
If you run into SCP-173 you are fucked
If you run into the old man you are fucked
If you blink you are fucked
If you aren't already, then you are about to be fucked
