Not too sure where to post this, but hoping someone can help;
I have a (slightly less than) 2 year old laptop and my battery conked off a week ago.
So far, I've just left the battery in, and kept it permanently plugged in- only disconnecting the charger when the laptop is shut-down.
But I've been having a Google about it and am getting all sorts of conflicted viewpoints;
Some people are saying it can damage the laptop, others are saying it's fine...
Is what I'm doing safe for my laptop? Or do I have to look into getting a new battery asap?
