Something's wrong with me......

    • Something's wrong with me......

      It was recently my birthday and I started acting weird. (I am not tellin' my age to the internet)
      Here is the list of things that happened:

      #1: I have a feeling I should be a truck driver whenever I get a job.
      #2: I keep saying that love does not affect me and all that emo shit.
      #3: I spell wrong.
      #4: I get high/crazy for no exact reason.
      #5: I have a sudden liking for HUGE things (don't even think about it).
      #6: I play the piano for 8 HOURS a DAY.
      #7: I'm getting sick more often. (probably because of the flu)
      #8: I am acting weird. As in not me. I rather not say the real me.
      #9: I'm acting like a mature douche to my friends.
      #10: I'm listening to ONE FUCKING DIRECTION.

      What's wrong with me!? I need help or an answer.

      Just saw on your profile that you're 33, so my guess is that you're probably having a middle age crisis (or wtf its called).

    • Umm, well, I think it's quite normal for people to have different phases of changing in their lives, is it not?

      If you want to change your occupation, you probably have just realized the thing you're doing right now is not for you - perhaps you're craving for something new? You're probably really stressed if you've been sick often. And playing piano 8 hours a day, maybe you just want to get better at it, or it calms you down? I don't want to pry, but it's possible you're slightly depressed? I tend to get carried away with art during my floods of depression.

      Everyone changes, it's nothing to worry about - don't be afraid :>

    • You'll be fine my friend. I went through the same thing transitioning from younger age to where I am now. You'll lose interest in things and then gain interest and then lose it again. The brain sucks sometimes. You'll even out eventually I'm sure. :) In the meantime just sit back and enjoy the learning experience.

    • When I'm very happy, I am acting weird, like : in normal days I hate to make my homeworks, but when is my birthday or someone's else, I'm starting to make them. Reason : All the people in the house (it sounds weird) are happy and they're partying, so this gives me a strange feeling to stay isolated and do some creepy things (no, I mean homeworks or cleaning my room XD).
      Maybe you are very happy, man, but the One Direction thing is really unexplainable.

      something like that already happened to me:

      i'm usually a kind, shy but silly and crazy around my friends....

      2 yrs ago, i entered in some kind of..... sh*t time...

      -i was a troublemaker, makin' everyone angry at me, causing trouble and stuff

      -stood up against school rules and stuff

      -bullying people

      -saying emo-like stuff

      but it passed (glad im not like this anymore ^^'). i'm sure it will be fine for you bro!

    • When I turned 25 I went through what they call a "quarter life crisis" which is when you turn 25 and realize that you've wasted a good portion of your young adult years drinking and working for the man, and didn't do anything that you wanted when you were a teen ... such as sky diving, traveling... it was rough for me. I created a bucket list.

    • I guess it could be middle-life crisis.

      Edit: The One Direction thing is probably some kind of messed up shit going on in my head.

      Edit Again: The occupation thing is probably because of a game. Euro Truck Simulator 2.

      Edit #3: The rest probably has no reason.
