Really build up the story. Scares are a main part of a horror game, but the story is the difference between a good and great game. If you want a good example of a game like that, I would suggest ib. It has both elements in it. Look forward to playing your game!!!!

Just managed to complete the Maze, wich will be one of the puzzles to get the first item.
There will be 2 monsters inside who will follow you
I'm gonna leave a picture of the maze and how to get to the end at spoilers
There will be a secret chest with a diary page, you need to collect all three of them so you can see what happened to the girl.

DONT LOOK AT IT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW TO COMPLETE THE MAZE

Do something with time... like in 3 floor second room are scraps on a wall that says 11 and on a 1 floor fourth room hidden behind a closet 30... 11 :30

something like that it dosent need to be like i said but i think its pretty good idea to do something with time....

i could help you with storyline or anything that dosent involve in game characters or something... only ideas

you should name it POTATO CHIPS...

why? do her eat potato chips at the end that have been poisonus by the bad character

and its a little bit mysterious

Really really sorry for delay, busy with school and etc.
but now i'm putting more time in to it, the game it's almost ready,i'll finish it probably this week, after finishing it i'm going to have some friends to test it and maybe one of you guys/gals, to test it and give any suggestions on how to improve it.
and after that i'm going to release it

PS 2: Nice suggestion but unfortunately i already got a name and a story and can't fit it with potato chips

Well, today i managed to complete a few things, i made the killer be "jeff the killer" xD
Tks to Lagoon-Sadnes for sprite
second item and how to get it completed, now i just need to make the last item, how to get it, and an ending ^^.
i'll try to complete this week. but can't promise it.

Dude this sounds awesome, I mean I will play it for a quick Let's Play or if its real short, a quick little play through of it when your done. Anyways, I think its amazing and there has to be a way to make someone jump like a jumpscare kind of thing. If there is, I will be happy!

nope, in the last week i wasn't able to not even open the rpg maker xD, too busy...
but i'm gonna try finish it ASAP.

xD, i had no intention of putting jeff the killer in the game, but then, i was thinking on someone to be the killer, and it imediately came to my head jeff the killer xD.
sorry about the delay, i still haven't had time to put more work in to it, i have 2 tests tomorrow and another things xD...
but i'll try to complete it asap.
btw. Don't expect a good game since this is my first game using rpg maker ^^...

sorry for necropost but
a lot of thing happened since may D:
and i got kind of tired of using rpg maker and i din't had finished the game and started doingo ther stuff
but i got "untired" of using rpg maker and finished the game :3
realy sorry about all the delay but i'm going to upload it here asap
credits to Otter for songs :3 and all the pewdiepie.net forum community

just gonna make some tests...
game has about 15 minutes of gameplay probably more
probably isn't going to be good since it is my first rpg maker game
kind of basic story
but i think it looks kind of cool
