      I have already posted this on a couple other posts lol... But im gonna paste it hear for you.

      This isnt based off the content of your channel or vids.. but generally advertising your channel as your first post... or even within your first 10 posts is very frowned upon here. It is better to get to know some people, post some other places, and make some friends first.

      I'm letting you know this because i think you deserve a chance to know that people are gonna respond pretty negetively to this post, but not because of your channel (they wont even look at it).

      Sorry i haven't been socialising much but I've been very busy making these videos not to mention doing my college work. I put so much effort into these that all I'd like is some views and feedback. Once our channel starts hitting some views and subscribers I'll chill out a bit and then do some socialising.

      So you are actually stating that your main purpose here is to promote your channel and afterwards if we start viewing and subbing that you will be active on the forum? It should be the other way around , many members here are active and put nice fanart and lets plays at this section while they have college at the same time, so i actually don't think that your "hard" work is an excuse to advertise here while nobody knows you well.

      I'm only free to record on tuesdays at the moment so I try and get as much as I can filmed then edit whenever I have some free time at home or in college.

    • Sorry mister, but this isn't good... I agree with FlameX. Advertising on first post is bad.You should become friends with someone first, do some activity here, etc. And have the excuse of not having time because of collage. Why even make THIS post, if you can't be a little bit active on other posts, or maybe in the chat? I'm just sayin', and alot of people agree with me and FlameX...

      Listen, I understand where you two are coming from but in the manner FlameX replied towards me I found it a little insulting i.e. "AdvertisementWhore", so I retaliated. I am trying to take part in more threads and things, also you must understand I am not using college as an excuse, what I'm trying to say is that I'm part of a very demanding course, I have a part-time job and I want some time to see my friends, I haven't got the time FlameX obviously thinks I have.

      What I'd like to know is, if you had just created a YouTube channel and had uploaded over 50 videos in the space of a few months with barely any video views, would you wait after a certain amount of posts to paste a link to your channel or would you paste it right away in the hope that some people are on the search of some new videos to watch?

      I'm still waiting :) I got less than 100 views on most of my videos (8 of 51 videos are over 100 views, and the rest is down on 10-30 views, maybe a little bit more). But I want to gain trust and friendships before posting any advertisement of my channel. :)

      All right fair enough, I apologise about the way I've gone about making this thread. You seem like a nice person who has much more patience than I do and I respect you for that. You have that little edge on me in regards to views because none of mine have reached 100 at the moment, but we're more or less in the same boat. I'll be sure to check your channel out as soon as I get the time, I'm interested to see what you've made.
