Most depressing departures in gaming?

Okay, so we've had the most depressing deaths and shit, that was some sad stuff, but now I'm asking which departure did you find the saddest in whichever game? A character that left, that you tense up thinking about?

Yu Narukami leaving Inaba in the Bad Ending of Persona 4.

It's night, it's quiet, your friends speak quietly, and when the train leaves it just feels... Empty-ish.
What's even just as bad is the credits. Black background, just plain text... And this creepy music playing. Completely different in the Good/True Ending, where the credits are awesome with cool music and the departure is really happy 'n stuff.
