They are still subject for the rules stated in the ToS therefore they actually can't use the excuse 'I didn't read the rules' as they agreed with it while signing up. And its easy to just read them afterwards by clicking on the ToS button or the numerous rules topics scattered over nearly every section. Hell , I even have links in my sig.
