It runs android apps with the constriction of not being mobile, and I have an Xperia Play so the controller thing is pointless to me. As far as I see it, this thing seems like a waste of 99 dollars.

I think the console is great! it holds potential for android developers and those who want to mess around the hardware. I guess as a company you could buy 10000 of these devices and upgrade the hardware, giving credit to the creators of the console and selling it for more also (well I think you can do that).

It looks pretty cool , but I'm not sure if I buy it , because I still prefer PS2

But I think too it's a future of consoles , it's a little and cheap.

you get many free games - the only disadvantage is that they announced updates (which means a new console) every 1-2 years -
i don't think i'm going to buy it..... I mean.... looking from the 3 biggest (CMIIW) gaming console company(CMIIW again) like Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft.... i think most of the gamedev and ppl still would prefer those three compared to the new and unsure console...
i mean... what games would be in it? android games? What "NEW" things that can we can get from this "not so different" console?
by the first look it gave us "normal" ish controller. not a new thing....
