then my first actually scary game... Doom 3. i never saw nightmares of any characters. but... i was about 12 when i first time played it, i started game and played it late at night. when i finally tried to sleep, i saw bloody pentagrams all over the walls, and heard ppl whisper and scream good memories!

when i first played amnesia i also got really weird dreams... bros trying to catch me. very disturbing pictures. i remember how i got feeling that something was after me, felt really anxious... yeah and still, when i find new horror game i want to play, ill start playing it late in evening in dark room and play as long as i can stay awake, dreams after that are real funky

Amnesia, it gave me the weirdest nightmares i ever had, still i play it. Everytime i look into the darkness, I hope a bro doesn't show up.

When I was young everyone that was in a video game and was dead, zombie like or even ghost like scared the shit out of me!

Alma from F.E.A.R. I watched "The Ring" (Japanese version) when I was 14 and then I was playing F.E.A.R. for a good few weeks straight after. My room back then had both a TV and a phone, so you could imagine how the movie and the game mixed in my head and my room didn't add any safety.

I could only play F.E.A.R. with its original sound about 2 years later - always replaced it with some music before. That done, I enjoy both the movie and the game series now.

This is typical, but the Grudge Girl ALWAYS scares the shit outta me since Pewds played it ;-;

The only game that has ever given me nightmares was the 1st Silent Hill title.
When I played it, I was still young, and still wasn't too 'desensitized' from a lot of things.
That air-raid siren... the sound of the static over the radio... the fog.
Thinking about it now, I want to go turn on my bathroom light O_O (Kidding)
