  • CISPA: Worse than SOPA and PIPA?

    Hey bros!


    I don't know if you heard but, SOPA and PIPA are back. But, in a different name "CISPA". This bill may be harmful to us Americans and other people not living in America. How's that? Well, you know MegaUpload right? You've probably heard that it was shut down and the creator was arrested by the American government and It's not even an American company. I know most of you want it explained in a video instead of reading it yourself. That's fine. It's a preference of mine too. I have added a link to explain what this bill is. The video is made by "The Gunn Shop" AKA "Gunns4Hire".


    Gunns will explain some things about this bill and when he has time to read it. He will explain it further. He has also added a video in the description that has this lady to explain the problems with this bill.


    I have posted this in the help section because we all need help to stop this bill. No matter how exhausted we are from stopping SOPA and PIPA. Enough with the chatter.

    I have found a petition site. I'm not quite sure if this is a legit petition site. But, people are signing from all over. The goal is 600,000 signers. The current signatures at this very moment in the post is 567,091.

    Megaupload wasn't even responsible for all the copyright infrigement due to the TOS stating that the users are guilty if they do it (sorry couldn't find better words for it , im a bit sleepy), they also tried hard to keep Megaupload clean by deleting such things. sure Megaupload was used for piracy purposes etc. , but all filehost companies have that. (and if a filehost states that they DONT have "illegal" content hosted , then they are lieing.)

    I still can't believe it how the american government got an international search warrant when the CEO isn't even american + doesn't host his services @ USA. This already demonstrates on how corrupt the world is.

    I don't think that CISPA will pass , mainly due to the fact there were mass demonstrations on the internet and even @ government offices with SOPA and PIPA , the internet should be free for everyone and safe for everyone. (well it actually isn't with all the hackers out there and such, but the Internet provider and government monitoring you is way much worse)

    In my opinion Anonymous is not doing well also , only making videos about attacks which will never happen. and if they do something , it is really small and the breach was most likely childsplay (true fact : government sites aren't protected well), while they brag about information stolen for the server etc.

    This bill will create a lot more problems than solve. America is in debt for multiple reasons. One is the jail systems. Lately, in the past 10 years the amount of people in jail have increased so much that they have to make new jails and think about this. The amount of money the create the jails, keep people there, food, etc. Is already A LOT! IF I say IF the bill passes there will probably be an increase of people in jail causing the jail systems to be over populated, causing more jails to be made, causing more food to be payed for, causing more money to keep the people there, etc. America is in debt already we don't need this. Also, the amount of money for our privacy to be invaded is also at a high rate.

  • And this... is why I don't watch the news much anymore. Since I live in Canada (and I have duel citizen ship for both the US and here) it sucks to know the fact that the country right next to mine can be so dumb...

    Looks like I'm going to have to sign this thing about 20 times.
