Good Gaming PC Specs?

Hey guys, Prince Light here (I know it's different from my username on here, don't judge D:<). Anyways, I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not, but would these specs be enough to play BF3 or Crysis 3? Not sure bout video cards, suggestions if NVIDIA is better than AMD or vice versa? I'd say it looks good apart from maybe try to get 1600MHz + RAM and also possibly a better graphics card, but even at this it should run those games on Medium settings

There is a flaw.

Your motherboard and CPU is not a good combination.

H61 cannot overclock your CPU which is UNLOCKED CPU since it has K. You can go with Z77 mobo so you can take advantage of it.

If you're not going to overclock. Just get a B75 motherboard since it's the new H61 motherboard. then take i7-3770 without the K then add the extra funds to a better GPU.

You can also downgrade your Powersupply to 600w and above.

Well, you see that your RAM says DDR3 1333? The DDR3 Is good, that's not a problem, but what the 1333 represents is 1333MHz, which is the speed of data transfer for the memory. 1333 is the lowest around, and the highest is about 2400MHz, but to save money and also get more efficient RAM, just get the same RAM sticks and make is 1600MHz

AMD are by far the cheaper of the 2 companies, but personally I prefer Nvidia, cause while you are spending a little extra money, it goes a long way as they are faster and way more advanced.

yeah, I have the Z7787, definitely a better motherboard to use, leaves a lot of options, and my i5 is o/c to 4.6 from 3.4, so definitely go for an i5 if money is an issue, I have no problems

Spend a little bit more on the motherboard. It's very inefficient having a 320 dollar processor and a 90 dollar motherboard.
You should even it out. Maybe buy a 3570k i5 and a Asrock z77 Extreme4 or just simply spend a little bit more on the motherboard.

If you could get a 7970 Boost, it would be really really good. Is this all for gaming or 3D rendering? If you have to do 3D rendering, get a Nvidia card, their CUDA cores will help a ton to lessen the rendering time.

B75 motherboard. Yes, he can get a B75 motherboard + i7-3770 CPU. I'd go for HDD than SSD though. SSD is good for loading times and boot times. But it lacks the Space. WDC Black is one heck of a beast HDD. It's really really fast.

500GB is easy to full. I always download albums and movies. Bandicam records 15minutes for 16GB or more. Fraps records 15minutes for goddamn how big it is, 60GB maybe.

It's better to have a slave hdd for those purposes. (Movies, games, songs, recorded vids, footage, thumbnail, etc, etc.)

lol.. Why not deleted them when you finish uploading it? I do that.. And this computer's Hard Disk I'm using has 364 GB, And has a space 78.3 GB (Combined C and D). I do is record the game... encode it, if finish encoding delete the original file.. upload the encoded file and when it's finish uploading, deleted the encoded file.

I don't delete the encoded file though. Don't know why.

I have 2 HDDs. One is for games, and one is for movies. I still have a lot of room for both since I managed to organize all of them. It's your own preference.

It's fine if you are going over the top, but your motherboard is a little cheap.

Your motherboard needs to be changed, because your processor isn't "compatible".

Newegg is fine. Just don't go wandering to custom PC builders (Like what I did).
