I still play Heroes of Might and Magic 3, that can never get old.
Some of favorites are Diablo 1,2 , Age of Empires, Baldurs Gate 2, Fallout 1, Silent Hill... alot

Yoshi's island i never played it on the snes but it came out for gba as a port i think i don't think there is any difference between the snes version and the gba version, but i played that game for more hours than i can count and still do sometimes

Doom, and Doom 2 are my favorite older games and they where pretty long and hard Today's games are much more short than before. You wouldn't pass Doom 2 in a week, more like a month if you played many times.
