Dude, first of all welcome on the forum. I don't want to make a bad introduction of me to you but. PLEASE look around on the forum there allot kind of threads like this with " I am making a game please help ".

You could better help them out then starting at your own an new one.
      But okey it's your choice.

      Good luck.

I honestly cannot stress this enough. The amount of people I see asking for a team to help them make a game is astounding. "Great, you have a game idea... now what can you contribute to the project? Oh, you can't draw, model or code...? So uh, what use are you exactly?" is generally the case.

Learn for yourself so you can have something to show and contribute, anyone who is well versed in game development is going to pass over this thread without a second thought.
    • It seems like all these kind of projects never get finished or just goes very slow. I would suggest that you start out by making something really simple just to ensure that you and your team is actually capable of finishing something, you will also learn the strength of each member, so you are much better equipped when/if you are going to create something bigger.

So unless you are 120% committed to your project, and know you can keep it up through the whole process (which could be long), you really should start with something simple. If your are able to finish even a simple game, you and your team will probably also be more motivated to keep it up.

I hope you understand, but it is of course very positive that you have the inspiration and desire to create!

Generally those who post team requests don't realise how much work even the simplest of games require. I did a little platform based fighting game last semester and the collision detection alone took ages to perfect, and this was for a 2D game with a single level.
    • i actually wanna help. i'm just a computer science student though.
i wanna learn more about creating simple games
and maybe i can use some of what i already know.
if you want i can help. don't really need to pay me if i can't help a lot. XD
      what are signatures for??? :)
