      Hello Bros who are reading this.
      This is my first thread in the Feedback section , so I will try to keep it understandable.

      Gallery was added into the forums like a day ago and everyone was hoping it to be beast.
      In my opinion it is bad. I know some bros payed for the Gallery thing to be added , but seriously.
      Gallery is a good place to view creations that bros released quickly and without any searching , but the main reason of this is the feedback.
      Before people could have leave a feedback on the threads , to let bro that released his work learn from the +'es and -'es .

      I would recommend leaving the Gallery how it is , and make the Fanarts section available for us again. That way people who want will get the needed feedback and possibly more comments that on those empty Gallery pictures.

      Just... Gallery isn't the right place to leave comments/feedback , because its just not the same as threads and posts.

      I don't want to be against anything or so , but I'm just leaving my opinion about this whole thing.

    • Well. I think it haves its pro's and con's.
      The cons is that its not many that use it or visit it. Therefore in this case, Fanart section would be better.
      Also its pretty new and many havent gotten used to it yet.

      The only difference is that you get postcount for the forum but you could easily remove that.
      If so, it should be added again. But having stuff on 2 places is messy.

      I would give it 1 month and then see if its worth it. But the licence is bought so its here to stay i guess.

    • I rather like the gallery. You can rate and comment (which serves as feedback) and easily share your favorite artworks through different websites (facebook and such). I personally don't really care about post counts and reputation modifiers... I guess the only thing that might be sad is that people might not know you posted something new in the gallery right away. But then again, making a thousand threads for each time you make a new fanart or something - that won't help.

      As others have mentioned, the gallery was paid for, and I think it would be a bit sad to dismiss it right away because it's different than what was there before. :3
      Give it some time and see how people like it ;)

      True , but I'm not suggesting to remove the Gallery , only letting us to post in the Fanart section.

    • I find it mindbaffling that you say "It was easier to find fanart before when it was all posts and threads", I mean how is it easier from what it is now?

      You had to go through a ton of threads and sometimes tons of posts, now you just have to click the button, then go to a page, scroll around till you see what you're looking for or just see something nice you want to comment on or rate, there's really nothing to it.

      are we some kind of experts to know the exact rating to give? Rating isn't a good feedback , because if people rate it , they just rate it when they want and on what they want .
      And also , you cannot hear what they like , dislike , friendly tip/advice , maybe a small tutorial for the to fix/add into his creation . I doubt if someone would do that on Gallery.

      I don't see why you wouldn't, there's a comment section for each image, by not using that and craving for the fanart section to be back you're just protesting something that I would personally see as something better.

      The main reason I donated for it to get installed was because many came in the shoutbox and asked where to upload their pictures, and I know it was never hard, but it shouldn't be hard for you to rate what you think is suiting for the image, does it really matter though?

      And still, if you don't want to rate and give feedback or whatever, THERE IS A COMMENT SECTION, it's not that hard to find, it has all of the features like the fanart section had and more, I just don't understand why it would be hard to use, I mean if you feel you aren't the right person to rate an image, don't, it's not thar hard to stay away from the stars.

      Never mind . Not even gonna discuss with you about this . You are one of the bros that donated , ofcourse you will defend the gallery as hard as possible.
      Gallery and fanart wont be the same.
