Collaborations and Guest Commentary

Hey everyone.

I need some advice/tips on collaborating and such with fellow LPers.

I know that some of my favorite people collab w/ their friends and upload the finished product to Youtube.

Also, sometimes they have a guest who sits and talks with the person while he's/she's playing a game.

I'm not sure if I'm wording this right, but I'm curious as to how you'd go about doing that.

well first be friends with them and then ask him about colaborating with him

Well, i have a couple of people that want to collab, but I'm not sure what would be the best way to record.

I'm trying to think of a good game to play. Maybe Portal 2 or something.

We could possibly do something in the near future.

I'll keep in touch.

Well just record a regular gameplay but with your friend~
If your friend has a recording program then he could record his side and you do yours.
Skype call to communicate and stuff like that

How I would do it? Make sure you both have Skype. Both people having a headset microphone aswell, will improve the quality. Go into a Skype call, so the other person's voice should play through the computer's speakers. Then, record the computer speaker's audio, as you would normally. You may have to edit the sound of either your's or his voice depending on the volume, but mainly, that's how iv'e done it in the past
