A big part is age a good portion of the time. I rarely watch anyone's stuff if they are 18 or younger. I tend to get irritated rather quickly. Once in a blue moon I find someone under 18 worth watching, and that typically has to do with the maturity level of the person making the videos.

To prove the point about boobs: I just posted a video of a section of The Darkness 2 where you go through a brothel and there are a heckload of half-naked ladies, and I made the thumbnail a picture of a rather busty girl and named the video "boobs boobs boobs." For me with my 16 subscribers, I usually get only a couple views on a video, and overnight after posting this video got 10 times the views as the other ones I posted that day =P

Because it's a harsh fact of life that people don't want to watch kids do let's plays on youtube. Generally no one will want to watch you unless you're 18 or above.

Not nessacerily, 15+ is fine. I started my YouTube channel when is 15 and I gained a sub base. All really down to the viewer
