  • Fast question.

I have windows movie maker, and I think that's what Pewdiepie uses also to show his webcam while hes gaming? But I don't see the setting or option to bring out the webcam into a little box. It just shows it in the actual editor window. Where or is there an option to do it like Pewdiepie does it?
    Ermergerd.
  • I know you can get Picture-in-Picture capabilities with Sony Vegas Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro. It all takes some time to edit together, like he has hinted in some of his other videos.
If I recall correctly he uses Adobe Premiere Pro for his advanced editing. That's what I use, and I highly recommend it for what you are planning to use it for. Very simple interface, and can get the task done well.
  • Pewdie uses WMM to record his webcam, while he records his voice with Audacity and the game per Fraps.
The Video and the Webcam is getting merged in another editor like Sony Vegas. There you can crop videofiles into specific forms/fields or positions.

The Sound is then included as an wave-file to have 2 audiochannels / one for gamesound, one for voice.

On his last asked questions thread he says that he records webcam and audio with logitech webcam software

Yes but when he started, he used Windows Movie Maker. I don't know why he uses the Webcam-Software now. It doesn't give a benifit. WML is good for fast cutting and the files aren't that big.
