My husband & I thing that this game Little Inferno would make a great break from horror games.
the story is u play this kid that owns a little inferno entertainment fireplace. you spend time buying funny toys to burn in the fireplace, thus earning more money to buy more toys. There are combinations that you have to guess, and burn certain items at the same time, to discover. once you get enough combos, you can unlock the next catalog of toys, thus discovering more combos.
It is available on wii and steam, my husband played the steam version, for about $10. & even once you've "beaten" the game, you can continue to play endlessly. we found it semi therapeutic.
