      Info about the Rake:

During the summer of 2003, events in the northeastern United States involving a strange, humanlike creature sparked brief local media interest before an apparent blackout was enacted. Little or no information was left intact, as most online and written accounts of the creature were mysteriously destroyed.
Primarily focused in rural New York state and once found in Idaho, self proclaimed witnesses told stories of their encounters with a creature of unknown origin. Emotions ranged from extremely traumatic levels of fright and discomfort, to an almost childlike sense of playfulness and curiosity. While their published versions are no longer on record, the memories remained powerful. Several of the involved parties began looking for answers that year.

    • It takes a lot of elements from slender indeed... but the change of environment is nice. I too do like the word Hostel xD
The game is sucky so far, I don't know if he will improve it with more versions. Also it is too dark for recording it. Unless it was the commentators fault it kinda needs to brighten up just a little. That's all I can say for it.
      I love ya all ~ :3

      The new 'Slender' eh?
      Yep, extremely original as always...

Actually the Rake is scarier then Slenderman , but I think this is a page/item/bitchfist collecting game anyway...>.>
Well, other than the game mechanics. The rake is pretty scary cos the feral and aggresive temper i suppose :v

If you're angry, don't break anybody's heart, they only have one..... Break their bones, they have 206 of them
    • Well, The Rake has always been a more interesting creature than Slenderman, for me.

I fear that this game might become like Slender..

      The Rake : Hostel

The Rake : Back to the Asylum

      The Rake : Bathtub

      The Rake : Closet

      The Rake : Elementary

      The Rake : Yo Mama

      The Rake : Bedroom

    • I'm sorry, but I think you guys should understand something.

This game is made on FPSC engine. This means, it has a lot of recycled stuff. Since FPSC is a very primitive engine, almost every game made on it will look and play similiar.

Everything you see on the screenshots wasn't made by the developer, for the most part. The flashlight model, the textures, the programming - it was mostly produced by the creators of the engine, the developer just used it for his game. He obviously didn't put much any effort into this. If you've played a game called "Slender man's shadow", or any other FPSC based game, you'll find a lot of similarities.

Everyone can make games on FPSC, and because of this, most of the games based on this engine look generic and boring. There are some good games on FPSC, but for the most part, it's just a bunch of generic crap made by kids. Plus, The Rake has nothing to do with the Rake mythos, the developer just decided to call the monster The Rake just to get your attention. And he's also asking for donations, just like the developer of SMS did. I've player The Rake and it only tries to scare you with simple jumpscares and Slender mechanics.

So, do you still think this game is better than any other Slender influenced game? Think again.

He sits at the screen, with the rain filtering through the windows. A light dust of water rests on his skins as he stares at the monitor. The screen stares back. He is all alone, with nothing but the rain and computer to comfort him.
