      As an Art & Design student I had to present a final piece, so I decided to draw Shining Armor. I know I've painted him the wrong color and couldn't draw the cutie mark on the front of the armor (it didn't print out), but that's because the teacher didn't have a big variety of colors (I even had to mix 'em). Please, share a honest opinion, bros, even if it's bad. Thanks.

    • I'm not really up to these ponies thingy... but it's pretty good to be honest.i'm not an art student so i don't know what should i compare it with. The colour is a lil bit of meh though

    • To be fair to you, I'd like to know how many years did you practice. I'm not a great artist, I really suck, but loving art and having tons of friends at art school I can give you a good call about this.

      If you're a beginner, that's great. If not, and I'm trying my best not to sound rude (This is the internet, everyone misunderstands everything) then you're style is quite childish and not very confident. Your name is TheIntrovert, so that's probably an explanation, but I really find your drawing lacking of confidence. You draw without consistence, you change often directions with your lines without having a neat line or curve. This gives an overall bad sense to the drawing.
      The colours, also, are really shaky and in some spots I can see the difference with the base colour.

      That is, this is not at all a bad drawing, it's superior to everything I could ever do, but still I think you should improve and develop a personal drawing style.

      Thanks for the honesty. That's my first year in college. I know I'm bad at drawing, but I signed for Art & Design, because it was the closest college nearby me and there weren't any other interesting courses, so yeah. I don't plan on doing Art & Design in university, but I feel like I could succeed in college with it. I've never really been a good drawer, I'm mostly musical - singing, playing instruments and etc. So, yeah. Thanks again. <3

      BUT why would you do this? @_@ You said it'a a final piece, come on! And you're an art and design student! I've been working on mine for months (okay so it's not art but webdesign+coding) so like yeah I'd also ask are you serious. I AM asking are you serious. o_O Forget the "proper colors" and do something real that isn't a big blue blob of pony.

      And guys who watch MLP are not "homos"...

      Yeah sorry, I'm sure we can get over this someday. I just don't treat anyone asking for opinions with ease.

      No, that's okay, peach. Well, we had 3 projects, for each we had a new task every week, so I had like 1 day to think of it, print it out, draw it and color it. If I had more time, I would def. imporved it, but...a day...
