EDIT: Oh, yeah. for the suggestion... Most character of the walking dead. seriously. All of them kick me in the balls.

Pretty much every character that dies in Nier.

Every single ending is a kick right in the feels.

Yeah you aren't kidding about the Walking Dead. That game does such a great job of getting you attached to the characters as the story progresses. Some real depressing stuff in that one. The final death is the worst, a jab right to the feels bone.

Also, it's completely up to you. But some people might like it if you made a separate section for which game death is highlighted. So that people don't get anything spoiled! It's a bit of extra work, so it's up to you

. Some games it's more apparent than others obviously, simply due to some games being 10+ years old while others are still somewhat fresh.

Pretty much when my favorite character dies or any character I like

But the most recent depressing death for me is in the walking dead when Lee died. Honestly that game is the only game that made me cry.

I was about to say Soap from COD4:MW3, but you people would probably freak out on me.

So, the most depressing death for me is at the end of Assassin's Creed: Revelations, where Atlair is found dead, no flesh, just bone in his library when Ezio arrived 300+ years later.
