Well, you guessed it. It's gonna be a touhou fangame.
You get to choose your gender and name and start an adventure
in Gensokyo meeting various characters from. You play as
someone who is new to Gensokyo of course. The game will also
be split into stages just like normal touhou games except the battle
system will be different. Title? Well, I have an idea.
Touhou VX: Memories of Lost Dreams.
I want everyone's opinion on this idea. :thumbsup:

I always welcome Touhou fan games but I don't think it is really necessary to choose a gender as there are, like, exactly two male characters (aside from Unzan and that turtle thingy whose name I forgot) in the entire universe of Touhou. So I think you should stay with female characters. And: does the player get to choose the looks of the character? Would be awesome indeed. And another question: what genre will it be? A 2D platformer, a 2D shooter, a 3D shooter, an adventure?
Tell me more about the battle system and what story you have in mind.

Thanx for your opinion. The only reason I'm offering a gender option is because the

character in question is supposed to match the player a bit. There will be no customization,

sadly. There's just too much work that goes with that. But you can choose name and gender.

This will be a 2D Action RPG. Using Rpg maker, this game will turn out good once some time is spent on

it. I will continue with this idea after I get a lot of work done with my game.
