I found alot of Touhou songs in a Stepmania pack. They are the hardest courses I ever played.

Is the music one of the reasons the series is so popular? I loved most of them when I played.

Its imo not one of the reasons of why the series is so popular, but I think its a nice addition.

Personally, I think it is one of the reasons why the series are so popular. The music and fan projects led me to the game series, after all. Aside from that, the music is one of the greatest things about the games.

I was looking at Cirnos profile and checked out his youtube page, that Touhou RPG looked like a nostalgic treat. I also read that there were fighting game spin offs? What genre has Touhou NOT have a game in it yet?

There are currently three fighting game spinoffs and one in development (Touhou 13.5 - Hopeless Masquerade) and a big bunch of fan games as well, so the opportunities of genres are endless.

A Flandre horror game would be perfect. really. I can't imagine anything more scary. Except Yoshika Miyako ofc. But that's more like a zombie game then. And zombies ain't scary.

they could be if you are left tottaly alone and without any weapons...
and that you are overrun with zombies...
and that you have 1 hp in your health bar...
so they could be if you just make the game with a few things
that can make it really scary...
