Really! That's awesome. So far I've knit a scarf as well as some arm warmers, but I'm slowly learning more. :3

arm warmers???? i always wanted to make those! I'm kind of having a hard time making that b/c every time i try to make arm warmers, they always come out bulky. so far i made teddy bears, scarfs, pillows (heart-shaped, squares, and rectangles), and shirts for stuffed animals. though i wanna get better at making the teddy bears b/c some times they don't look like teddy bear LOL

XD I know the feeling, I sew a bit myself and I made ear muffs. they looked redundant. XD
When I do arm warmers, I try to pick out some of the thinner yarn they have, to make sure that they don't get too bulky on me. :3

oh I did like a hat for my cousin. I did not like how I made it but my cousin liked it. ohhh yea I forgot there was thinner yarn XD I'll try that C:

That's good that your cousin liked it. You just have to be careful with the thinner yarn, because in my experience it frays a lot easier, and that always pisses you off when you sometimes have to drop a stitch because of it.

I am so terrible at crochet, I'm getting better, but I'm rather bad at it. D:

all it takes is practice and time i think I wanna try knitting but I don't know how the stitch goes lol and I don't have money to go buy a book that tells me diiferent stitches I could do. how did you learn to knit?

I learned from a class I took in school, I'm doing a project right now for the advanced class currently, which is a scarf, but we have to use different methods. :3
It's actually rather easy to learn the basic stitch, you just need the needles to be able to :3

that is soooo awesome that you are taking a class for knitting!!!! I wish there was a school that has that course around where I live! lol I would enjoy homework everyday from that class

You should give me tips. I've been knitting for almost a decade..... and I still can't read directions. XD I just learned how to crochet too. Can you make sweaters?!

I don't know how to knit. and i taught myself how to crochet. ive been using one stitch for everything lol I've been playing around with the same stitch. I could make a sweater if I tried all I can say is play around with what you got and see what you can make maybe FieryLeaf could give you a better tip

I found a crochet pattern and it was.. a mess... But the funny thing is, it's kind of light beige color yarn, so I think, if it doesn't turn out, I'm actually going to make it into a crocheted Bro-shirt. XD I have scans from a crochet book thought, that helped me. I went to learn the crochet phrases, but not the knitting ones, so... Yeah. How do you make arm holes when knitting? It makes plenty of sense while crocheting, but not knitting. XD

I only know one crochet pattern. Have you made a shirt already? lol yea the knitting phrases can be a little difficult to learn. I myself need to learn them. Again I dont knit so I'm really sorry that I don't have the answer. you should talk to FieryLeaf -nods-

Heh I keep getting you two mixed up because this giant conversation keeps shrinking and I can't read the names. XD

Well I'm working on a second crocheted sweater, I'm going to call it my Lisa-Frank-vomit sweater, because it's going to look like she threw up rainbow colors all over me. I'm excited... and hopeful that it'll look good. XD

I can only knit scarves and sometimes hats, but not armwarmers! I wish I could take a knitting and crochet class in college! That would be fun!!! I'm jealous. PS, Fieryleaf, I have some corchet book scans if you want. I'm guessing you guys both know more than I do though, these are only basic stitches.
