    • My opinion about the Event.

      Pro's

      • Alot of funny people socializing and playing
      • Great length of playing
      • Diversity of games

      Cons
      • Chat was a big mess at times
      • Everyone never had the possiblity to play

Improvements + Suggestions to next time
      • if 30 people, sort them into 3 groups of 10 people. Its easier then. (smaller servers -> Cheaper)
      • Decide all possible games before event start
      • Having a requirement. Posts/rep/membership points
      • Better organisation
      • More fair pick -> Announce in video first before posting in the forums. But its a privilegie to be signing up before thou.

I loved it, thanks for everything!
    • Thanks, this is probably the most thought out thread for the feedback of the community event. c:

I personally didn't go to the event cause it was extremely early for me, but I do know that you played Killing floor, L4D2 and TF2. As it stands now Killing floor and l4d2 were the only two games properly announced. With the exception of TF2 I think it worked out quite well in terms of deciding games before the event.

As it was randomly picked (except VIP), I think that was the best way to do it. But if we do do random pick again I think we should pay attention to the nature of their posts and the rep count.

In 3 days this was massively organised. And with Pewdie not responding all the time Mkerix did all he could for it to be a good experience.

As with the 3 days things this is bound to happen. I do feel sorry for the people who were picked and didn't get to play. But what's done is done, now we can learn about it and make sure it doesn't happen again. I already think Mkerix is compensating people who were picked and didn't get to play.

The ultimate goal of this event was to attract more users. I think mkerix wanted to benefit the regular users with having a better chance to play, then just making a video and having close to 300k people want to play. Thanks for the feedback : D
    • I loved watching the event, personally, and I think pewdie and everyone who made it happen did a very good job. I had a lot of fun!

Though, I do think that the chat could use 2-3 admins to keep the spammers/unappropriated comments regulated. It slowed down the stream for the rest of the users and it was making it generally difficult for anyone to read the chat and have a fun, respectful conversation. I would suggest making a small 'bank' of people who would be willing to be chat admins (when they are not chosen to participate) so there would always be 2-3 people available at the time of the event.
