Waddup guys,i have a new problem i used to edit and rend my videos with sony vegas 11 but today when i tryied to edit my new video the sony vegas lags like HELL i can't do anything it lags too much i don't think its from my pc or idk because till now i had no problem everything smooth very good but now it lags hardly i can't use it anymore and i don't know why please someone help me or suggest me a program idk T.T i need help

What graphics card do you have? Did you disable GPU acceleration? -
Go to video preview and change your settings to Draft (quarter)

That's what confused me as well. For no apparent reason, just stopped working. Hopefully you find a solution. -

Mhm, i had the same issue. The entire program would crash, everything lagged. And it just started out of no where, for no apparent good reason. I also would get red screens occasionally in the preview box.
A few other suggestions beyond what I gave you initially:
-Defragment the drive, especially if you have been recording with fraps and deleting large files.
-Reinstall Vegas (obviously)
-Are you using a 64 bit system? Perhaps give vegas pro 12 (64-bit) a try.
- Updating your video drivers may help, but since you are disabling GPU acceleration anyway, it may not matter.
-Restart your computer after applying fixes (obviously)
I hope you find something that works. If you do please come here and share it, I'm sure many would benefit from your problem solving. Technical issues can be beyond frustrating, especially when they are seemingly random. -

Did you try changing the settings of the video preview to Draft (quarter)? That will remove a lot of the lag from the preview.

Reinstall Vegas, atleast worked for me. Sony Vegas loves to be a failure sometimes etc. , don't know if this will fix your problem , but it did @ me.

It's where it says Draft (quarter) in the image
Yours will probably say something like preview (auto).
Just click the drop down menu and change it to Draft (quarter)

I know what you're talking about - It usually happens when the Preview Video is too high in quality terms.
I put it in Draft (Full) to see how the video is going. But if I look for things precisely, I put Best (Auto).
But I don't think it's because of the graphic card, or yet, I highly doubt - I have a 680GTX and it does that, so...
